CEPT Entrance Exam is a design entrance test conducted by CEPT University to shortlist aspirants seeking admission into 3 years’ Bachelor Degree Programme (UG) and 2 years’ Master Degree Programme (PG) in Interior Design, Architecture, Urban Design and Management, Design and Construction Technology, etc, offered by the university. This year, CEPT 2020 for PG courses was time-tabled to be held on May 18, 19 and 20, 2020, however, due to the outbreak of COVID- 19, the CEPT entrance exam was held in online mode on June 1 and June 2, 2020. The results of the CEPT Entrance Exam 2020 was released on June 17, 2020, for all PG courses. The second merit list of the shortlisted candidates is yet to be announced.
CEPT 2020: Application Form
CEPT 2020 Application Form for the UG courses and PG courses were released through online mode in the month of June and January, respectively. The admission in the CEPT university begins with filling and submitting the application form along with payment of the application fee of INR 500.

CEPT 2020 Admit Card
The admit card for the CEPT examination is issued in online mode on the official website i.e. www.cept.ac.in / www.admissions.cept.ac.in. The admit card is an important document to carry along while appearing for the examination. Without admit card and photo ID proof such as PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, School Id Card etc, the applicant is not allowed to appear for the CEPT Exam.

CEPT 2020 is an Online /Computer Based Test of 03 hours duration. Candidates need to answer the Objective and Descriptive type question and showcase their expertise in Drawing and Design through this test. The negative marking scheme is not there in this examination.

CEPT 2020 Syllabus

- Level of Mathematics Questions of Class 12th.
- Level of English Questions is of Class 10th
- For PG programmes, the level of questions is of the bachelor’s programme.
CEPT 2020 Result
The result of the CEPT Entrance Exam is announced on the official website- www.cept.ac.in. or www.admissions.cept.ac.in. Every candidate who qualifies the CEPT written exam will be proceeded further for the next phases of selection viz. Personal Interview / Group Discussion round. Once the Personal Interview round is completed, the final result is announced alongside the cutoff. The selected participants are then required to pay the admission fee and submit the important documents before the last date of admission.
CEPT 2020 Merit List
The final admission in CEPT university relies on the overall score or rank as well as the aggregate score that is obtained in the multiple rounds of selection namely, CEPT online test and Personal Interview. The Seats are allocated giving preference to the candidates achieving a higher rank in the merit list, irrespective their category they belong to. A separate merit list is made for Gujarat Domicile and Non-Gujarat Domicile candidates.
CEPT 2020 Counselling
Candidates whose names get enlisted in the merit list are called to take part in the counselling process. These candidates need to reach the counselling venue on the prescribed date and time with the important documents. During the counselling process, the candidate needs to reserve the seat by paying the admission fee and submitting the admission form along with the other charges.
