Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Probationary Officers Exam 2021 or IBPS 2021 is an online recruitment examination conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection to shortlist the competent candidates for the post of Probationary Officer (PO) in the participating banks or organizations. The candidates are evaluated through three rounds of selection, namely, Preliminary exam, Main exam and Interviews. The preliminary and main exams of the IBPS PO 2021 will be conducted in online mode and the interview will take place in an offline mode wherein the candidate will have to reach the specified venue on the specified date and time. The IBPS PO exam is conducted every year to recruit the Probationary Officers into all the government and nationalised banks of the country.

IBPS PO 2021: Eligibility Criteria
Nationality:
- The aspirants must be a citizen of India
- The aspirants can be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan.
- The aspirants can be a Tibetan Refugee who shifted to India before January 1, 1962, intending to permanently settle to India.
- The aspirants can be of Indian origin who shifted from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.

- The upper and lower age limit of the candidate is 20 and 30 years.

Qualification:
Candidates must have graduation-degree in any stream from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% score (General category) and 55% score for reserved category candidates.
IBPS PO 2021 Application Form:
The application forms for the IBPS PO 2021 will be released online on the affixed date on the official website. Aspirants are advised to stay alert with the latest notifications about the same to ensure the filling and submission of the application forms before the deadlines. IBPS PO 2021 Application Fees
Mode of the payment: Payment of IBPS PO 2021 Application Fees can be made through Debit Card, Credit Card, IMPS, Cash Card/ Mobile Wallet, Internet Banking.
The application fee for the candidates belonging to General/OBC/EWS will be INR 600/- and for those belonging to/ST/PwD categories will be INR 100/-.
IBPS PO 2021 Pre-Exam Training
Before the examination, special training is given to the applicants belonging to SC/ ST/ Religious Minority Communities. This training is imparted free of cost and the eligible candidates have to undergo this training. These candidates are called for this training program through a call letter. The training program for IBPS PO 2021 Pre-exam will start in the month of September next year. The sole motive of this training program is to familiarise the applicants with the exam pattern & computer usage for the online examination and to give them helpful tips to qualify the exam.

Preliminary Exam
Prelims exam will be conducted in online mode. A total of three sections namely, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and English Language, will be there carrying
Multiple Choice Questions. A total of 100 MCQs of 100 marks will have to be attempted in a duration of one hour. The language medium of the examination will be English and Hindi.Each wrong attempt will lead to the deduction of 1/4th or 0.25 mark.

Main Exam
The main exam will also be conducted in the online mode for a duration of two hours. A total of 200 questions for 200 marks will be there under five different sections, namely, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, General Awareness, English Language, and Computer Knowledge. The language medium of the examination will be Hindi and English. Negative marking will apply to the examination and each wrong attempt will lead to the deduction of 1/4th or 0.25 mark.

IBPS PO 2021: Interview
The Interview Round for IBPS PO 2021 will be the final round of the Selection Process. Interview rounds will be conducted by the participating and associated banks in each state. This round will include face to face interaction between the interviewer and the candidate and will carry a total of 100 marks. The interview round will be conducted to evaluate the personal traits and communication skills of the candidates. For the final qualification, the candidates must score at least 40% in this round, the candidates belonging to reserved categories will need to attain at least 35% in this round.

The syllabus of IBPS PO 2021 encompasses a wide range of topics. The level of the English and Quantitative Aptitude will be of the elementary while that of the Data Interpretation, Reasoning and General Awareness will be of competitive exam.

IBPS PO 2021: Result
The result of the IBPS PO 2021 exam will be announced in some time after completion of the examination. IBPS PO Result 2021 will be declared online on the official website and the candidates will be able to access as well as download the same. The result of the preliminary and main exam will be announced separately. The candidates who will be shortlisted in the preliminary exam will become eligible to take the main exam. Once both the exams are qualified after obtaining minimum qualifying marks, the candidate will be eligible to move to the next stage of the selection process which is the Interview round. IBPS PO2021: Selection Process & Provisional Allotment
Once the preliminary, as well as the main exam, is qualified by the candidate, a separate call letter is sent to them by the competent authority. Only the qualified candidates get the call letter to come for the interview round. These candidates will have to download the call letter for the interview from the official website. After the completion of the interview round, a final list of the qualified candidates will be prepared by the competent authority, taking into consideration the total availability of the vacancies in the participating banks. These qualified candidates will be hired on a provisional basis and will have to complete the documents verification process if they meet the eligibility criteria set by the respective banks.
