IBS Aptitude Test or IBSAT is a computer-based national level entrance examination conducted by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education once in every year to provide admission to MBA or PGDM programmes offered by different ICFAI Business School (IBS) campuses. A total of 9 ICFAI Business School (IBS) campuses are there that accept the IBSAT scores to offer enrollments to competent aspirants. ICFAI is a deemed university having multiple campuses viz. IBS Jaipur, IBS Hyderabad, IBS Bengaluru, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Pune, IBS Kolkata, IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Mumbai and IBS Dehradun. IBSAT is a 2-hours online test that evaluates candidates through multiple-choice questions before offering them admission in the relevant stream.

IBSAT 2021: Eligibility Criteria

  • Graduation in any discipline with 50 % or more score in aggregate is a must. 
  • Candidates who do not meet the eligibility benchmark of English as language-medium in graduation must submit their score in TOEFL/ NELT/ IELTS.
  • Applicants studying in the final year of their graduation are eligible to apply.
  • For direct admission, candidates need to apply through scores in GMAT, CAT and NMAT by GMAC

IBSAT 2021 Admission Process can be understood through the below-mentioned five steps:

Step 1: IBSAT 2021 Application Form Filling

  • IBSAT 2021 application form can be filled online on their official website - 
  • Payment of Application fee of INR 1800 for the IBSAT 2021 Exam to complete the application process.

Step 2: IBSAT 2021 Slot Booking 

  • Allotment of a Test Center i.e. one of the three chosen test cities by the candidate in the application form.
  • IBSAT 2021 slot booking from two slots - Morning slot or Evening slot, by the candidate on the official website of IBSAT. 

Step 3: IBSAT 2021 Admit Card Download 

  • The download of IBSAT 2021 Admit Card- an imperative document to appear for IBSAT 2021. 
  • Admit cards are downloadable from the official website by the candidates who successfully book their slot for the test.

Step 4:Take IBSAT 2021 Test

Appearing for the IBSAT 2021 Test after ironing out question papers of preceding years and checking the IBSAT Exam Pattern.

IBSAT 2021: Admission Process

IBSAT 2021 Application Form

The admission process starts with the application process by filling the IBSAT 2021 application form. IBSAT 2021 application form must be filed within the prescribed time-limit after the creation of login ID and password on the official website. An application fee of INR 1800 needs to be paid by the applicant. The application forms for IBSAT 2021 have been released on 1st July 2020 and will continue to be filled till 16th December 2020. The application forms can be filled through online/offline mode. The offline application form can be purchased from marketing offices of IBS by paying the prescribed fee.

The applicant needs to fill the personal, academic and communication details in the application, upload the scanned images of required documents like recent passport size photograph and signature, followed by the payment of the prescribed application fee to be a successful applicant. The applicants are advised to take a print out the successfully submitted application form for further use. 

IBSAT 2021 Slot Booking

IBSAT slot booking is done on a first come first served basis. It must be noted that only successful applicants will be able to book their slots for the examination. Login credentials like application number and password are required to successfully book the exam slots i.e. to select the exam time and exam-centre. 

IBSAT 2021 Admit Card

After the submission of the application form, candidates need to download the admit card from the official website as and when they are released online. Admit Card or hall ticket for IBSAT 2021 is an important & mandatory document to carry along while appearing for the examination. Only the successful applicants can download the admit card from the official website after entering their registration number, DOB and password. Under any circumstances, no student is allowed to appear for the examination without an Admit Card.

Admit cards for IBSAT 2021 will be released online mode in the third week of December 2020 and will be downloadable from the official website.The admit card will not be delivered to the candidates via fax or post or any other offline medium. Students will need to download the admit card from the official website by entering the details asked. IBSAT 2021 admit card must be carried along with the valid photo while appearing for the exam. No candidates will be permitted to enter the exam hall without the admit card. IBSAT 2021 admit cards will comprise the details about the candidate as well as the exam such as candidate’s name, roll number, exam centres, exam guidelines etc.Candidates must keep their admit card safe till the completion of the admission procedure.

IBSAT 2021 Exam

IBSAT 2021 exam takes place in the online mode as the Computer-based Test (CBT) across different test centres in India. The test duration of two hours is given to the participants to attempt a total of 140 MCQs under the four sections, namely, Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability, Data Adequacy & Interpretation and Reading Comprehension.

IBSAT 2021 Results

IBSAT 2021 results will be announced online by the ICFAI Business School on the official website. The IBSAT 2021 result can be accessed and downloaded by the test takers after logging in with the hall ticket number, registration number and DOB. IBSAT 2021 result will be in a scorecard format mentioning the overall score along with section-wise marks scored in the exam by the candidate. IBSAT result 2021 will be declared on the official website in the 1st week of January 2022. Based on the performance in the exam, the participants will be invited for the next rounds of selections i.e. the GD and PI round. The final results are anticipated to be declared in March 2021 when all the selection rounds will be completed. Merit list will be prepared depending on the scores obtained by the participants in the entrance examination. 

IBSAT 2021 Cut Off

Cut off will be released online after the announcement of the result. Candidates need to score at least cut off marks to be eligible for the final enrollment. Based on cut off, the candidates will be selected and called for GD and PI rounds.

HOW CUT OFFS ARE DECIDED?

IBSAT cut off and percentiles are decided on the basis of several factors such as the difficulty level of the examination of that specific year, average passing percentage of students, etc. The minimum cut off marks for admissions are concluded after reviewing the following factors:

  • Number of candidates who marked their presence in the examination.
  • Number of seats offered by the institution. 
  • Passing percentage of candidates in the examination.
  • Difficulty level of IBSAT examination.
  • Overall merit/performances of the IBSAT qualifying candidate.

IBSAT 2021 Group Discussion and Personal Interview

Based on the scores in IBSAT 2021, shortlisted aspirants are invited to participate in the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds so that they can be further evaluated based on their outlook, negotiation skills and leadership skills. Most likely, the final list of selection will be out by the 3rd of March, 2021.Admissions will be offered based on CAT/ GMAT/ NMATand IBSAT 2021 scores.

Candidates are required to bring a call letter and documents for verification while appearing for the GD and PI round. Final admissions are given only after the verification of the documents, for which the following documents must have to be brought:

IGNOU 2020 TEE Answer Booklets & Re-evaluation Now Allowed to Applicants

Students participated in Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) June 2020 TEE, and December 2019 TEE exam will now be allowed to apply for the xerox copies of answer booklets. Indira Gandhi National Open University has decided to allow the students for the revaluation and re totalling of marks, they scored in these examinations.

The results of IGNOU June 2020 TEE were announced on October 1. With the upcoming facility of issuance of the photocopy of answer booklets, the students who were dissatisfied with their results can apply for the revaluation of marks scored in the term-end examinations and the photocopies of IGNOU TEE answer sheets. 

The application for the same will have to be made online on the official website of the university. Students simply need to go to the IGNOU website and click apply on the designated link. After which, a few details need to be filled, followed by the payment of the application fee and submission of the application form. 

It must be noted that the applications for revaluation and photocopies of IGNOU December 2019 TEE and IGNOU June 2020 TEE of exams comprising MCQ type questions are disallowed. 

According to the statement in the IGNOU revaluation window,  “Reevaluation and copy of Answerscripts is not available for the Following Exam for Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type and conducted on OMR sheets.”

Students can apply for and get the photocopies of the answer booklets of IGNOU June TEE and IGNOU December TEE examinations if the answer copy has not been handled for Re-evaluation. Students can either first make an application for the copy of Answer Sheet, followed by an application for Re-evaluation or go for both simultaneously.

Education expenses of NEET topper Akansha Singh will be paid by Uttar Pradesh Government. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made an announcement about the disbursement of her graduation expenses. These expenses will include the expenditure of food and lodging during all the academic levels of her graduation.

Akansha Singh lives in Kushinagar district of UP and has achieved 100% score in NEET 2020 exam.  

Though Akansha was given second rank in the examination, she has been declared as top-ranked along with Soyeb Aftab who is native of Odisha state. On the direction of CM Yogi Adityanath, a letter is to be sent by the chief secretary of UP state, to the authorities concerned for the declaration of NEET 2020 ranks to declare Akansha Singh and Soyeb Aftab, both as the first rankers of NEET 2020 examination as they both have scored 720 marks out of maximum score of 720. 

Besides, personal wishes are sent from UP CM to the family members and parents of AKansha Singh, laurelled the top- scorer as an ideal for all the girls. CM Yogi Adityanath appreciated the hard -work she has made and the high perseverance she has maintained throughout her preparation. 

On the other side, Shoyeb Aftab has also created a history with a full score of 720/720 and All India Rank of 1. He is the first-ever candidate to score 100% in NEET examination. From Odisha state also, he is the first student to Top NEET. With this high score, he hopes to get admission in AIIMS New Delhi. 

NEET 2020 comprises a sum of 180 MCQ type questions for a maximum of 720 marks. Qualified candidates who have scored at least or more than NEET 2020 cut-off are considered eligible to participate in the counselling process of NEET 2020. This implies that the candidates with scores more than NTA NEET 2020 cut-off will be eligible for enrollment to state-quota seats India quota (AIQ) seats through NEET 2020 counselling. The NEET 2020 cutoff for students who belong to General Category is 147. The highest number of students who have qualified NEET 2020 are from Uttar Pradesh followed by Maharashtra.

Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association, KPPGCA has released the admit card for KMAT 2020 for the eligible candidates who applied for the examination by filling the application form and paying the prescribed application fee. The admit card has been released via online mode on the official website of KPPGCA on 27th October 2020.

Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2020 is an entrance examination that will be conducted by KPPGCA (Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association) to offer enrollment to the qualified candidates in 189+ AICTE or University accredited Management Schools established in Bangalore and Karnataka. According to an official statement by Raghu Sharma, Rajasthan Health Minister, approval for the additional seats in MBBS in Rajasthan has been granted. 230 additional seats have been green signalled for the MBBS programmes at four medical schools in the state. 50 additional seats will be given to the medical schools in Udaipur and Ajmer. As far as Barmer Medical College is concerned, there will be an increment of 30 seats this year. 

In comparison to last year when there was a total increment of 550 seats, seats added this year are lower. However, if taken together, the total addition in MBBS seats in the last two years reaches 880 in Rajasthan, thereby making a sum of 2830 total MBBS seats in Rajasthan, today. 

The initiation of Srikalyan Government Medical College, Sikar has also received approval by the National Medical Science Commission. The Srikalyan Government Medical College, Sikar will be started in the session 2020-21. 

Sikar is a native district and approval of a medical college in Sikar was great news for Govind Singh Dotasara, Congress State President, who expressed extreme joy through a tweet over the approval.

"The much-awaited Sikar Medical College has received the approval of the National Medical Science Commission. It is a result of the strong will power of the Congress government of the state that the Sikar people have got their right, their medical college," a tweet by Mr Dotasara.

The first round of the NEET 2020 Counselling will start from 27th of October 2020 by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The first round of seat allotment under this process will commence from tomorrow. The counselling process will be conducted only for those candidates who have qualified the NEET 2020 exam. Unqualified aspirants will not be able to take part in the same. However, the registration is mandatory for the eligible candidates to participate in the counselling. 

Registration for the first round of seat allotment needs to be done on the official website of MCC - mcc.nic.in. and will remain open till 2nd November 2020 before 5 pm. It must be noted that registration must be done before the deadlines otherwise the participation in the seat allotment process is prohibited. 

NEET 2020 registration process seeks the names of the courses and colleges preferred by the candidates that means the candidates will have to fill in their choices about the college and the course during the registration process. However, the candidates will be allowed to fill in their preference within a specific course of time i.e. from 28th October 2020 to 2nd November 2020, after that the preferences will be frozen. 

Followed by the 2nd round of seat allotment, details about which will be notified very soon, the 1st round will be conducted on 3rd and 4th November and the results of the same will be declared on 5th November 2020. Here is the process to register for the counselling process of NEET 2020:
