IEMJEE 2020: Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Indian as well as Foreign nationals
Educational Qualification for UG Courses:
- Qualification in standard 10th & 12th examination with equal to or more than 50% in aggregate and 60% in aggregate for engineering programmes and B Stat.
- Students waiting their result or appeared for the final examination of the qualifying test, provided they show the required documents while taking the admission.
Academic Qualification for PG Courses:
- Minimum 60% in aggregate in all the semesters of the UG programs and 50% for MBA programs.
- Candidates awaiting for the result or appearing for the final semester of the qualifying examination, provided they show all the required documents during the admission.
Mode of Selection for IEMJEE 2020
The mode of selection is different for the UG programmes and the PG programmes. Mode of selection prescribed by the university:
- For UG Programmes: Mode of selection is IEMJEE 2020.
- For PG Programmes: Mode of selection is IEMJEE 2020, followed by GD and PI rounds of qualified candidates, based on merit list of IEMJEE 2020. Candidates qualified any state or national level entrance tests such as CAT, GATE, JECA, etc. are directly eligible for GD and PI rounds.
- For PhD Program: Mode of selection is the entrance exam that will be conducted in June 2020 for PhD programs in the university campuses.
IEMJEE 2020: Paper Pattern
The exam pattern of the IEMJEE for BTech programme is same as that of the JEE Main. The IEMJEE question paper is divided into three sections covering the syllabus of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. 30 questions are inserted under each section making a total of 90 questions to be attempted in a duration of 3 hours. For each right answer, 4 marks are awarded and for each wrong attempt, one mark is deducted.
Paper pattern for B.Tech program:
- Examination mode: Online mode.
- Duration of exam: 2 hours/120 minutes.
- Type of Questions: Multiple choice questions.
- Total Marks: 360
- Number of Question: 90
- Marking Scheme: Addition of 4 marks for each right attempt.
- Negative Marking: Deduction of 1 mark for each wrong answer
IEMJEE 2020: Admission Process
- Fill the Application Form for IEMJEE
The interested candidates who duly fulfils the eligibility benchmark must fill an application form that is made available online on the official website. It should be noted that there is no application fee which needs to be paid to be a successful applicant for this examination i.e. the application form can be successfully submitted without the payment of application fee.
- Download the admit card for IEMJEE
After the submission of the application form for IEMJEE, the candidate needs to download the hall ticket for the examination i.e. the admit card, when it is released online on the official website. One must note that the admit card is an imperative document without which the entry to the examination hall is restricted. So, the candidates must make sure to carry an admit card along with a photo ID proof while going to appear for the entrance test.
- IEMJEE Exam
The IEMJEE exam is conducted in the three shifts, however, the candidate needs to take the examination in the slot opted by him or her. The admit card of the exam carries details about the exam as well as the candidate and so also it showcases the slot in which the candidate needs to appear for the test.
- IEMJEE Result Declaration
Once all the phases of the examination are completed, the result for the same is declared in online mode on the official website. The participants are allowed to access their result for the IEMJEE 2020 result by using their login credentials.
