IGRAU is a national-level entrance exam conducted by Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA) to offer admission in Ab-initio (PPL) to CPL programs offered by the academy. Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA) administers this entrance exam for the aspirants seeking admission into the Aviation Training Option for BSc (Aviation) degree along with Commercial Pilot License (CPL) program with Multi-Engine Endorsement. The process of selection to offer enrollments includes three stages, namely, written exam, Pilot Aptitude Test and Interview round. The online written exam evaluates the competency of the candidate for the next level of selection through a set of questions that are based on Mathematics, General English, Physics and Reasoning and has to be attempted in a duration of 2 hours. After that, an interview or viva test is conducted followed by an examination of the candidate through a pilot aptitude test or psychometric test.

Minimum age of 17 years is required to join the course.
Qualification in the examination of 10+2 or equivalent examination is compulsory along with Maths, Physics and English as mandatory subjects.
50% score in Physics and Mathematics in the qualifying exam is required along with a 50% score in English. Qualifying score reduces by 5% for the candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC.

IGRUA 2020 Application Form
Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA) released the application form on the official website of the examination, to be filled by the eligible candidates. The application form for IGRAU 2020 must be filled with due care as you do not get any chance to edit the information filled once the application form is submitted. One has to pay the specified application fee for the successful submission of the application form. Application Fee: Candidates belonging to General, OBC and EWS category need to pay the IGRUA 2020 Application Fee of INR 12,000, however, those belonging to SC & ST candidates need not pay any Application Fee.
Mode of Fee Payment: Application Fee can be paid either using internet banking, debit/credit cards or Bank Challan to be payable at any branch of State Bank of India following the guidelines for Fee Payment.

IGRUA 2020 Admit Card
Admit Cards for IGRUA are issued only to the successful applicants, to be downloaded after entering the Email id and DOB on the official website of the exam. Admit Card is a mandatory document to carry to appear for the exam and it contains details about the exam as well as the candidate. A print out of the GRAU 2020 Admit Card needs to be shown at the exam centre by the candidates as the entry to the Examination Hall is not permitted without this. Admit cards act as an authenticated identity to appear for the Interview / Aptitude Test and must be kept saved till joining.

Interview/ Viva: Participants who pass the written exam are called to appear for Interviews or Viva. Besides, they are also required to present some important documents during the Interview or Viva.
Pilot Aptitude Test or Psychometric Test: Only the qualified candidates are allowed to appear in the Pilot Aptitude / Psychometric Test for the final selection. In the Pilot Aptitude/Psychometric Test, no relaxation is given to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/EWS/OBC.

Written Test is organised at major cities across India subject to the availability of enough applicants at the concerned centres in different cities. Candidates get choices to select three test centres as per the preferences.
IGRUA 2020 Result
Result for IGRUA 2020 is announced online on the official website of IGRUA. Candidates can access their results after entering their login credentials. The result is notified after each stage, however, the Final Result is notified after all the rounds of Selection Process. Candidates taking the Exam and cracking it can access their results on the official website. The cutoff scores for SC/ST/EWS/OBC candidates will be 5% less from the cut off marks secured by the last candidate in the General category. All Selected Candidates including SC / ST / EWS / OBC will be required to pay commitment money of Rs. 2 Lacs (non-refundable but adjustable against the total fee) to secure their seat.
IGRUA 2020 Selection Process
IGRUA 2020 is a three-stage process that encompasses Online Written Test, Viva/Interview and Pilot Aptitude Test.
Online Written Test: It is a computer-based test conducted as the first round of the selection process. It is organised at the Exam centre in different cities and carries the objective type question of 10+2 level. These MCQs are related to Mathematics, General English, Reasoning, Physics and Current Affairs.
Interview/Viva: Candidates who get shortlisted in the first round of selection process i.e. written exam are qualified to appear for Interviews/ Viva. These candidates need to produce some prescribed documents in original along with one photocopy during the interview.
Pilot Aptitude Test or Psychometric Test: Candidates who get shortlisted in the second round of selection process i.e. Interview/Viva are qualified to appear for Pilot Aptitude / Psychometric Test. One who qualifies this level is finally selected. It should be noted that no relaxation criteria is given to candidates belonging to SC/ST/EWS/OBC Candidates as far as Pilot Aptitude/Psychometric Test is concerned.
