IICD 2020 examination is a University level examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Craft and Design (IICD) for the admission in various integrated UG and PG courses. Indian Institute of Craft and Design (IICD) is an academic institution in Jaipur which offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes in the areas of Craft and Design. It is an autonomous institute of high quality, set up by the Government of Rajasthan, to act as a catalyst for the crafts sector. The core idea of the Institute is to develop a sustained program of growth and development for both craftspeople as well as the craft sector in a unified manner.
IICD entrance exam is divided into two parts. Eligible candidates, who will be able to qualify the Part-A, will only be eligible to appear for the Part-B level exam. Candidates qualifying both the written examinations must qualify the interview procedure for the final selection.
IICD 2020: Highlights
Due to the urgent situation of the pandemic COVID-19 across the world as well as in India, the IICD board has changed the exam pattern. An email has been drafted in the wake of this situation and has been sent to the candidate’s registered Email-ID.
Part A: In this part, candidates have received some assignments to be finished in the time span of 10 days from receival. The candidates had to submit the assignments by May 05, 2020.
Part B: In this part, candidates who are shortlisted based on assignments submitted are required to appear for an interview. The interview process is to be conducted either through Skype or WhatsApp video call, in the wake of the Covid-19 situation.

IICD-2020 APPLICATION FORM
The Application Form for the second round to get enrolled in the Indian Institute of Craft and Design (IICD) 2020 Examination has been announced and the last date to apply for the same is June 18th, 2020. Eligible candidates can submit their IICD 2020 Application Form on the official website of IICD. Interested candidates must submit the IICD 2020 Application Form before the deadline to appear in the IICD 2020 Examination (https://www.iicd.ac.in/en/).

IICD-2020 ADMIT CARD
The Admit Cards for IICD 2020 were released in the first week of April 2020 on the official website (https://www.iicd.ac.in/en/) of the Indian Institute of Craft and Design (IICD). Candidates who have completed the online registration process must use their Login ID and Password to download the IICD 2020 Hall Ticket. Candidates must carry their Admit Card and other required documents to enter the IIDC 2020 examination. Candidates must go through the necessary details after downloading the admit card:
- Name of the candidate
- Roll Number of the candidate
- Date and Time of the examination
- Venue of the examination center
- Photograph of the candidate
- Signature of the candidate
IICD 2020 EXAM PATTERN
According to the IICD board, the question paper is divided into two parts. The following topics are covered in the question paper, IICD Material, Colour & Conceptual Test and General Awareness, Creativity & Perception Test.
NOTE – Recently, the exam pattern of IICD 2020 has been changed. Candidates had to submit the given assignments by 5th May 2020.

IICD 2020 RESULTS
The results for the IICD 2020 examination were released by the IICD board on its official website (https://www.iicd.ac.in/en/) on July 2nd, 2020. Qualified candidates from the Round-1 test are eligible to appear for the Round-2 on the given date.
- Candidates can check their IICD 2020 Result on the official website with their valid credentials.
- The IICD board releases the result in the form of a Merit List (PDF format) which contains the names and roll numbers of the selected candidates respectively. The list is based on the overall score obtained in the written test and PI.
- Upon selection, candidates will get an intimation of their final selection through an Admission Letter, which will be sent on their registered email ID.

Question 1: Is there any refund policy after taking the admission?
Answer 1: Refund policy will be accepted based on the number of days from the date of commencement of the academic session.
Question 2: What are the courses offered by the Institute recognized?
Answer 2: IICD’s UG Degree Programme (4years) and PG Degree programme (2years) degree programmes are recognized and the degrees are awarded by Rajasthan ILD Skills University (RiSU).
Question 3: Does the Institute provide any scholarships or financial aid?
Answer 3: There are no scholarships. The financial aid is offered to a limited number of students and is based on Merit cum Means, sponsored by Ambuja Educational Institute’s policy norms.
