Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) 2021 is a national level test conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore to grant admission into the Five-Year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) to the candidates who have passed their Standard 12th or equivalent.

IPMAT 2021 will be held via online mode across different test centres in different cities in India. 

IPMAT 2021 will shortlist the applicants for further rounds of selections viz WAT and PI, to offer admission into the five-year integrated program that was launched in the year 2011.

Changes in the Fee Structure of the Program

Indian Institute of Management Indore announced the fee structure for Five Year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) last year. This fee structure for the forthcoming session 2021-2026 is different for domestic and international candidates.

The fee structure for the first three years: 2021-2023

  • Domestic Students: INR 4,00,000
  • Foreign Students: INR 6,00, 000

IPM Fee Structure for the fourth and fifth year: 2024-2026

  • Fourth Year: INR 8,00,000
  • Fifth Year: INR 8,00,000

Note: The fee is inclusive of internet and lodging facilities and it allows entry to libraries and lectures.

IPMAT 2021 Admission Process

IPMAT 2021 Admission Process can be understood through the below-mentioned five steps:

Step 1: IPMAT 2021 Application Form Filling

  • IPMAT 2021 application form can be filled online on their official website - https://www.iimidr.ac.in/ 
  • Payment of Application fee of INR 4130 for the IPMAT 2021 Exam to complete the application process.
  • Selection of three most preferred Test cities to take the IPMAT 2021 exam. 

Step 2: IPMAT 2021 Slot Booking 

  • Allotment of a Test Center i.e. one of the selected test cities by the candidate in the application form.

Step 3: IPMAT 2021 Admit Card Download 

  • The download of IPMAT 2021 Admit Card- an imperative document to appear for IPMAT 2021. 
  • Admit cards are downloadable from the official website by the candidates who successfully apply for the test.

Step 4:Take IPMAT 2021 Test

Appearing for the IPMAT 2021 Test after ironing out question papers of preceding years and checking the IPMAT 2021 Exam Pattern.

IPMAT 2021: Application Form and Process

Filing of an application form for IPMAT 2021 is to be done online and includes a series of steps that start from registration, continues with documents upload & payment of application fee and ends with the download or print of confirmation page. Lets us have a look as to how this process goes on:

  • Go to the official website of IIM Indore
  • Click on the IPMAT 2021’s Registration Link
  • Generate a User ID and password
  • During the registration, User ID and password is created and sent to the candidate on his/her registered email and SMS, so ensure to fill the working mobile number and active e-mail Id. 
  • Re-login to the website using these credentials
  • Fill the required details in the application form with utmost care
  • Make payment of the registration fee through Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking
  • Candidates who belong to reserved categories have to submit valid and attested certificates approving their reservation category as well.

Registration 

  • Use IPMAT 2021 password, roll number and security pin to log in to the IPMAT registration website. 
  • Fill in the same academic, personal and contact details as given during the registration for IPMAT 2021. The information appears in the 'Read-only' mode on the screen.
  • Enter some additional details required in the JEE Advanced Registration form.

Uploading the documents and scanned certificates in the prescribed format.

  • Category Certificate and an additional category Certificate (Optional) - Mandatory for SC /ST /OBC-NCL candidates.
  • PwD Certificate - Mandatory for candidates who have selected “Yes” for PwD.
  • OCI Card/PIO Card - Mandatory for OCI or PIO nationality.

Payment of registration fee

  • Online through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking.

Note:

  • Take the printed copy of the unique registration number along with other registration details allotted to you after the successful payment.
  • Unsuccessful payment of complete fee leads to the application rejection.

Download or Print of Confirmation Page

After the successful payment of application fee and submission of the application form, the applicant must take a printed copy of the confirmation page and keep it secure for future use. A printed copy of confirmation page testimonies the confirmation of registration even when there are some technical glitches. 

IPMAT 2021: Syllabus

IIM Indore released the IPMAT 2021 application forms on the official website on 17th February and announced the date- 20th April 2021 as a deadline for its submission along with the application fee.

Before applying for the Aptitude Test, Aspirants must check their eligibility to avert the chances of application rejection. 

IPMAT 2021: Benchmark for Eligibility 

IIM Indore has laid down an age, category & academic-based eligibility benchmark to appear for IPMAT 2021.

Academic Eligibility

General and NC-OBC Category

At least 60% aggregate in Class X/SSC and Class XII/HSC 

or equivalent exam in the year 2007, 2008 & performing in 2020.

SC/ST and PWD (DA) Category

At least 55% aggregate in Class X/SSC and Class XII/HSC 

or equivalent exam in the year 2007, 2008 & performing in 2020.

Age-based Eligibility

General category 

Maximum age: 20 years as on August 01, 2021. 

SC/ST category 

Maximum age: 25 years as on August 01, 2021. 

Exam Pattern of IPMAT 2021 

IPMAT 2021 will be an online test with a total time stretch of two hours to answer a sum of 100 questions under three sections. 

According to the specified exam pattern, for the IPMAT 2021, 40 minutes will be given for the 40 MCQs under the first section of Quantitative Ability, another 40 minutes will be given for the 40 questions under the second section of Verbal Ability and last 40 minutes will be given for the 20 SA questions under the third section of Quantitative Ability.

Marking Scheme of IPMAT 2021 

Four marks will be awarded for each correct answer. 

One mark will be deducted for each erroneous answer.

No negative marking for the short-answer type questions under Quantitative Ability- SA section.

IPMAT 2021 Admit Card

IPMAT 2021 Admit Card will be released by IIM Indore online on the official website. The students who could successfully fill the application form along with the payment of application fee will need to take the print out of this admit card after downloading it from the official website.

IPMAT 2021 Admit Card is an exam hall ticket without which a candidate will not be allowed to appear for IPMAT 2021. Besides, a valid photo ID proof is also imperative to take along on the test day. Steps to download the IPMAT 2021 Admit Card:

  • Go to the official website
  • Click on the ‘Admit Card’ tab
  • Fill the Application Number/User ID and Password and Login 
  • IPMAT 2021 admit card will be displayed on the system’s screen
  • Download the same and take a printout 

IPMAT 2021 Result Declaration

IPMAT 2021 Result will be declared by the conducting body- IIM Indore via online mode on the official website of IIM Indore.

Using the access codes/login credentials, students will be able to access the comprehensive as well as sectional scores of applicants. Based on their IPMAT result, the shortlisted applicants will be invited for the next rounds of selection that includes WAT and PI.

 Steps to access IPMAT Result 2021

  • Go to the IPMAT 2021 section on the official website of IIM Indore 
  • Click on the button that reads “Results” 
  • Fill your IPMAT 2021 application form number
  • Fill the registered email ID or D.O.B in DD/MM/YY format
  • Fill the Security Code or Password
  • Click on the tab that reads “Get Status”
  • Download the IPMAT 2021 result shown on the screen and take 2 printouts of it. 

IPMAT 2021 Cutoff

IPMAT 2021 cutoff indicates the minimum marks that an applicant needs to score to get qualified for the next stages of selection. IIM Indore will announce the IPMAT 2021 Cutoff, based on which the shortlisted candidates will be named for the Writing Ability Test and Personal Interview round.

IPMAT 2021 Selection

After all the three rounds of selection, namely- Aptitude Test, Writing Ability Test and Personal Interview, an IPMAT 2021 merit list will be prepared. Based on this list, the admission will be offered to the qualified applicants in the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) at IIM Indore for 2021 batch, well-considering the government-prescribed reservation criteria for specified categories such as Scheduled Caste, OBC-NCL, Scheduled Tribe and PwD.

It is anticipated that the IPMAT 2021 Selection Process will take place at around eight cities and a typical weightage of 50% will be given to Aptitude test while 35% to the Personal interview round and 15% to the Written ability test.

What will be the programme-duration of IPM?

IPM is a Five-Year Integrated Program in Management with a total of 15 terms (which signifies 3 terms of 3 months in each year).

Will there be any negative marking in IPMAT 2021?

Yes, one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. However, there will be no negative marking for the short-answer type questions.

Does qualification in IPMAT with a score more than cut-off marks signifies admission in IPM programme by IIM Indore?

No, qualification in IPMAT shortlists you for further rounds of selection process viz. Written ability test and Personal Interview. It does not provide you with direct admission in the IPM programme by IIM Indore.

Is it mandatory to carry a hard copy of the Admit Card while appearing for IPMAT 2021?

Yes, it is mandatory to carry a hard copy of the admit card while appearing for IPMAT 2021, without Admit Card an applicant is not allowed to enter the examination hall and the digital copy is not allowed. 

What are the other documents other than the admit card that we need to carry to appear for the exam?

Photo ID proof like Driving License, Aadhar Card or PAN card is also needed to be carried along with the admit card while appearing for the examination.

IGNOU 2020 TEE Answer Booklets & Re-evaluation Now Allowed to Applicants

Students participated in Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) June 2020 TEE, and December 2019 TEE exam will now be allowed to apply for the xerox copies of answer booklets. Indira Gandhi National Open University has decided to allow the students for the revaluation and re totalling of marks, they scored in these examinations.

The results of IGNOU June 2020 TEE were announced on October 1. With the upcoming facility of issuance of the photocopy of answer booklets, the students who were dissatisfied with their results can apply for the revaluation of marks scored in the term-end examinations and the photocopies of IGNOU TEE answer sheets. 

The application for the same will have to be made online on the official website of the university. Students simply need to go to the IGNOU website and click apply on the designated link. After which, a few details need to be filled, followed by the payment of the application fee and submission of the application form. 

It must be noted that the applications for revaluation and photocopies of IGNOU December 2019 TEE and IGNOU June 2020 TEE of exams comprising MCQ type questions are disallowed. 

According to the statement in the IGNOU revaluation window,  “Reevaluation and copy of Answerscripts is not available for the Following Exam for Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type and conducted on OMR sheets.”

Students can apply for and get the photocopies of the answer booklets of IGNOU June TEE and IGNOU December TEE examinations if the answer copy has not been handled for Re-evaluation. Students can either first make an application for the copy of Answer Sheet, followed by an application for Re-evaluation or go for both simultaneously.

Education expenses of NEET topper Akansha Singh will be paid by Uttar Pradesh Government. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made an announcement about the disbursement of her graduation expenses. These expenses will include the expenditure of food and lodging during all the academic levels of her graduation.

Akansha Singh lives in Kushinagar district of UP and has achieved 100% score in NEET 2020 exam.  

Though Akansha was given second rank in the examination, she has been declared as top-ranked along with Soyeb Aftab who is native of Odisha state. On the direction of CM Yogi Adityanath, a letter is to be sent by the chief secretary of UP state, to the authorities concerned for the declaration of NEET 2020 ranks to declare Akansha Singh and Soyeb Aftab, both as the first rankers of NEET 2020 examination as they both have scored 720 marks out of maximum score of 720. 

Besides, personal wishes are sent from UP CM to the family members and parents of AKansha Singh, laurelled the top- scorer as an ideal for all the girls. CM Yogi Adityanath appreciated the hard -work she has made and the high perseverance she has maintained throughout her preparation. 

On the other side, Shoyeb Aftab has also created a history with a full score of 720/720 and All India Rank of 1. He is the first-ever candidate to score 100% in NEET examination. From Odisha state also, he is the first student to Top NEET. With this high score, he hopes to get admission in AIIMS New Delhi. 

NEET 2020 comprises a sum of 180 MCQ type questions for a maximum of 720 marks. Qualified candidates who have scored at least or more than NEET 2020 cut-off are considered eligible to participate in the counselling process of NEET 2020. This implies that the candidates with scores more than NTA NEET 2020 cut-off will be eligible for enrollment to state-quota seats India quota (AIQ) seats through NEET 2020 counselling. The NEET 2020 cutoff for students who belong to General Category is 147. The highest number of students who have qualified NEET 2020 are from Uttar Pradesh followed by Maharashtra.

Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association, KPPGCA has released the admit card for KMAT 2020 for the eligible candidates who applied for the examination by filling the application form and paying the prescribed application fee. The admit card has been released via online mode on the official website of KPPGCA on 27th October 2020. 

Successful candidates need to download their admit card from the official website i.e. kmatindia.com. using their login credentials.

Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2020 is an entrance examination that will be conducted by KPPGCA (Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association) to offer enrollment to the qualified candidates in 189+ AICTE or University accredited Management Schools established in Bangalore and Karnataka. This year, the examination will be conducted on 29th October 2020 for admission to management institutes in the state.

According to an official statement by Raghu Sharma, Rajasthan Health Minister, approval for the additional seats in MBBS in Rajasthan has been granted. 230 additional seats have been green signalled for the MBBS programmes at four medical schools in the state. 50 additional seats will be given to the medical schools in Udaipur and Ajmer. As far as Barmer Medical College is concerned, there will be an increment of 30 seats this year. 

In comparison to last year when there was a total increment of 550 seats, seats added this year are lower. However, if taken together, the total addition in MBBS seats in the last two years reaches 880 in Rajasthan, thereby making a sum of 2830 total MBBS seats in Rajasthan, today. 

The initiation of Srikalyan Government Medical College, Sikar has also received approval by the National Medical Science Commission. The Srikalyan Government Medical College, Sikar will be started in the session 2020-21. 

Sikar is a native district and approval of a medical college in Sikar was great news for Govind Singh Dotasara, Congress State President, who expressed extreme joy through a tweet over the approval.

"The much-awaited Sikar Medical College has received the approval of the National Medical Science Commission. It is a result of the strong will power of the Congress government of the state that the Sikar people have got their right, their medical college," a tweet by Mr Dotasara.

The news highlights the commencement of first round of NEET 2020 Counselling from Tomorrow

The first round of the NEET 2020 Counselling will start from 27th of October 2020 by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The first round of seat allotment under this process will commence from tomorrow. The counselling process will be conducted only for those candidates who have qualified the NEET 2020 exam. Unqualified aspirants will not be able to take part in the same. However, the registration is mandatory for the eligible candidates to participate in the counselling. 

Registration for the first round of seat allotment needs to be done on the official website of MCC - mcc.nic.in. and will remain open till 2nd November 2020 before 5 pm. It must be noted that registration must be done before the deadlines otherwise the participation in the seat allotment process is prohibited. 

NEET 2020 registration process seeks the names of the courses and colleges preferred by the candidates that means the candidates will have to fill in their choices about the college and the course during the registration process. However, the candidates will be allowed to fill in their preference within a specific course of time i.e. from 28th October 2020 to 2nd November 2020, after that the preferences will be frozen. 

Followed by the 2nd round of seat allotment, details about which will be notified very soon, the 1st round will be conducted on 3rd and 4th November and the results of the same will be declared on 5th November 2020. Here is the process to register for the counselling process of NEET 2020:

Step 1: Go to the official website of MCC i.e. mcc.nic.in.

Step 2: Find and click on the ‘UG Medical Counselling’ link available on the homepage.

Step 3: Click on ‘New Registration’.

Step 4: Save your new login ID and password that will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Click on ‘Candidate Login’ and enter your new login credentials.

Step 6: Enter all the details asked.

Step 7: You will get a registration slip after filling all the details. 

Step 8: Make a payment of the registration fee. 

The registration fee needs to be paid before the deadline and the due date for the payment of the registration fee for NEET 2020 Counselling's first round is 2nd November 2020.
