IPU CET or Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test is a university-level entrance test conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University once in every year to offer admissions into different UG & PG programmes. This entrance test examines the competencies of the candidates in a particular field and based on their performance, the qualified candidates are enrolled in the GGSIP University and affiliated colleges for B.Tech, BBA, BCA, LLB, LLM, MBA, MCA & other programmes. To get admission into medical programmes i.e. BDS and MBBS aspirants need to apply via NEET score.

Recent Update:
The last date to submit the IPU CET 2020 Application Form has been postponed to 30th June 2020. The commencement of online submission of application form was started on 3rd March 2020. The aspirants who wish to take admission in the GGSIPU need to apply before the last date of 30th June 2020. The correction window of the application form will open on 1st July till 3rd July, 2020 to allow candidates to rectify any mistakes committed while filing the application form such as spelling mistakes in the name, father’s name, mother name or omission of important details, etc.

IPU CET 2020: Eligibility Criteria
General Eligibility
Nationality: Indian Nationality
Age: For UG programme- 18 to 21 years old and for PG programme- 21 to 35 old.
Eligibility Criteria for MBBS and BDS Programmes
- Qualification in 10+2 or equivalent examination in Science stream with PCB (Biology/Biotechnology) and English as mandatory subjects from a recognized education board.
- At least 50% and 45% aggregate score in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology for the general category and SC/ST category.
Other eligibility needs:
- Qualifying score in NEET.
- Medical fitness.
- Qualification in 10+2 examination by C.B.S.E./ ICSE/JMI, New Delhi from a recognized school established within the boundaries of Delhi NCR is required for BDS programme.
Registration Process for MBBS And BDS
Aspirants who wish to get admission in the medical programmes offered by Medical need to register themselves and take the NEET examination. The application forms available on the official website of the university need to be filled online by the candidates who wish to take admission at IPU. By registering themselves on the official website and generating the login credentials, the candidate can furnish the important details, upload the scanned images, left thumb impression and signature, mentioning the academic details & work experience, the candidate can successfully apply for the test. However, payment of the application fee of INR 1000/- is also mandatory. After the successful submission of the application form, the candidate must take the printout of the confirmation page and keep it safe for future use.
IPU CET 2020: Application Fee
- Application Fee of INR 1200 is applicable to all categories.
- The application fee has to be paid via online mode using credit card, debit card or net-banking.
- The application fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
Admission Process for MBBS And BDS
The scores in the NEET will set the benchmark for the selection in MBBS and BDS. NEET is a national level examination conducted by NTA to offer admissions into medical and dental schools. So during the registration for IPU CET, exam details about NEET are mandatory to be furnished by the candidates. Based on the NEET score and rank, the qualified candidates are invited to participate in the counselling process. A medical test is also conducted to evaluate the medical fitness of the candidate. Medically unfit candidates are not acceptable for the programmes.
IP University Counselling Process
Based on the candidates’ rank in the merit-list of IPU MBBS and BDS, candidates are called in sequential order for the counselling process. Original certificates and their xerox copies attested by Principal or Gazetted Officer are the must-carry documents for the candidates to participate in the counselling process. These mandatory documents and certificates are as follows:

- Admit card or rank scorecard
- The original document of class X and XII (2 xerox copies)
