JEMAT is a state-level test that is administered by the Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal to enrol the candidates in the postgraduate courses of MBA and PGDM.The Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal conducts the Joint Entrance Management Aptitude test on the behalf of the government to offer admission in more than 44 government and various private colleges which accept the JEMAT 2020 examination results for admission in MBA courses. The exam takes place only once a year mostly in the month of June.

Eligibility Criteria for JEMAT 2020
* There is no age limit to apply for admissions in JEMAT 2020 examination.
* Candidates must be a graduate with a bachelor's degree or even a master’s degree from a recognized educational institution, where he/she should have scored at least 50% aggregate marks. However, in the case of an SC/ST applicant, the minimum aggregate marks requirement is 45%.
* Candidates who do not belong from the Nationality of India, in case of a student of Nepal and Bhutan can apply for the JEMAT 2020 entrance test but first they need to submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) that is signed by the High Commission.
* Candidates who are an NRI need to submit their nationality certificate to apply for the JEMAT 2020.
* There is no limit on the number of attempts for the test, a candidate can apply how many ever times he wants.

Recent Updates About JEMAT 2020
The registrations for JEMAT 2020 commenced on 25th April, 2020. The application window will remain open till 30th May 2020, so the students who want to take the Joint Entrance Management Test 2020, must apply for the same online on MAUKAT’s official website.
Process of Admission for JEMAT 2020
Step1: Apply Online
Applicants need to apply for the JEMAT 2020 exam online, by filling out the admissions form thoroughly and attaching all the necessary documents alongside very carefully.
Step2: Pay the Application Fee
There is an admission fee that needs to be paid, by each applicant through an online transaction, and once the fee is paid, no correction is permissible in the application form.
The applicants should remember to download and print the application form and application fee receipt with them carefully.
Step3: Download the Admit Card
Every applicant who has successfully registered will have to download their admit cards that will be released on the institute website using their Application ID.
Step4: Choose the Exam Centre
Applicants must choose their examination centers, there are centers located in 23 parts of India out of which the applicants must choose one most favorable to them.
Step5: Appear for the Exam
Taking the admit card along with themselves the applicants will have to appear for the JEMAT 2020 examination at the chosen center.
Step6: Check the Result
Wait for the examination results to be released on the institute’s website and applicants should check for their scorecard to see their examination result.
Step7: Participate in further Rounds of Selection
There are two more rounds before the final selection for admission is completed, Personal Interview and Group Discussion. Based on the three rounds of selection, applicants will be chosen for admission.
Counseling for JEMAT 2020
Students who have scored up to the qualifying marks in the examination of JEMAT 2020, will be called in for the counseling process. The counseling process is to be held twice, one online and the other offline and the students are charged a fee of Rs. 500/- for the counseling process. For the offline counseling process, the students will have to carry in a few documents along with themselves such as:
