JET 2020 Exam Pattern
JET 2020 Exam Pattern was published by Jain University. According to the JET 2020 Exam Pattern, there will be a total of 150 objective-type questions which will include 30 questions for each of the sections of Physics, Mathematics, English, Chemistry and Aptitude and Logical Reasoning.
One mark for each correct answer will be awarded to the candidate with no negative marking for incorrect answers.
The medium of the examination will be English.
Jain 2020 for Programmes Offered
JET 2020 Entrance Exam is mandatory for admission in different undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. These programmes which are offered with different specializations by Jain University are listed below:
* UG Courses: B.Com (Regular/ Hons/ Professional), BBA, BA/ BA (Professional), B.Sc. (Regular/ Professional), BMS, B.Tech (Regular/ Lateral), and BCA.
* PG Courses: M.Com (Elective/ Professional), MCA (Elective/ Professional), M.Sc., M.Sc. IT, MA, M.Tech, MMS, and MBA.
JET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Jain University has defined eligibility criteria for JET 2020 which must be met to register for the examination. The eligibility criteria for different courses are as follows:
JET 2020 Eligibility Criteria for B Tech (Full-time course of Four years)
Qualifying Exam: Class XII from a recognised board with Physics & Mathematics as mandatory subjects alongside any one subject from Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational.
Qualifying Marks: Minimum of 60% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
JET 2020 Eligibility Criteria for UG Programs
Qualifying Exam: Qualification in Class XII or awaiting results of Class XII from a recognized board in the relevant stream.
Qualifying Marks: Minimum 60% and 55% aggregate marks for general and SC/ST category, respectively.
JET 2020 Eligibility Criteria for PG Programs
Qualifying Exam: Bachelor’s degree (min. 3 years) in any discipline
Qualifying Marks: 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
Work experience for executive programs.

* PUC, ICSE, CBSE are the recognised boards that confirm the eligibility for JET 2020
* 30 credits for students of International Baccalaureate
* Education at A/Advanced level) in 2 or 3 for Cambridge students.
JET 2020 Syllabus
JET 2020 syllabus will take in the topics of PCME of Class XII level (for engineering) and other subjects as per the UG programme opted by applicants.
The syllabus for PG courses will take in the topics taught in the relevant curriculum during the graduation. Topics are classified into two sections viz. Section 1 and Section 2.
Section 1 covers the CBSE syllabus of Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics of class 11th & 12th
Section 2 covers English Grammar with 20 questions.
JET 2020: Admission Process
Step 1: JET 2020 Registration/ Filling the online application form

Uploading scanned documents and images
Payment of the Application fee for JET 2020 of INR 600/-
Taking printout of Confirmation Page after successful payment of the application fee.
Step 2: JET 2020 Admit cards - JET 2020 Hall ticket.
JET Admit cards are issued online by Jain University on its official website (jainuniversity.ac.in) only to the successful applicants. JEE Admit card is downloadable by the applicants by clicking on the ‘Download JET 2020 Admit Card’ link and entering the registered email address, password & application number. Apart from valid photo ID proof, JET Admit card is also a mandatory document to be allowed to take the JET 2020 Entrance Exam.
JET 2020 admit card contains the Name & Photograph of the candidate along with the Name, Date & Time of JET 2020 exam.
Step 3: Appear for JET 2020 exam
JET 2020 online will be held across different centres in the country. Applicants who choose the online mode of examination to get the choice to choose their preferred exam centre at the time of filling the JET 2020 Application Form.
However, the offline exam will be held only at the Jain University campus on the prescribed date.
Step 4: Jain Entrance Test Result
Results of the Jain Entrance Test are announced online on the official website. Candidates will be able to access their JET result 2020 by filling in their registered login id & password.
JET Result 2020 will show the total marks and rank scored by the candidate alongside the candidate’s roll number and name.
Step 5: JET 2020 Counselling
JET 2020 Counselling will be conducted online by the Jain University after inviting the qualified candidates, based on their rank in the merit list, via email for the selection through GD & PI. Seats will also be allotted online by the university after giving due consideration to the rank & preferences of the candidates and total seat availability.
Step6: Payment of Admission Fee
Applicants will need to pay the admission fee and submit the original documents at the Kanakapura campus in Bangalore to confirm the admission.
