Deadline to fill and submit the application form for JMI BA LLB 2020 entrance test has been extended by Jamia Millia Islamia from March 25 to April 15, 2020, due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The application forms were released online on February 21 to be filled by the aspirants in online mode. JMI BA LLB 2020 will be held on June 5, 2020, followed by the counselling session for the participants will successfully qualify JMI BA LLB 2020. The first seat allotment process will take place in the first week of July 2020 and the second seat allotment process will be conducted in the second week of July 2020.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualifying Exam: Qualification in 10+2 or equivalent from the recognised education board.

Qualifying Marks: Minimum 50% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam.

Age Limit: Below or of 20 years and 22 years in age for candidates from General category and SC/ST/OBC category, respectively.

Application Form

Aspirants have to fill the Application Form for JMI BA LLB 2020 in online mode on the admission portal of Jamia Millia Islamia using the registration id and password which is sent on the email address and mobile number when a candidate registers him/herself on the official website of the university.

Steps to apply online

Step 1: Go to the admission portal- jmicoe.in

Step 2: Click on the "Apply for Admission" button available on the homepage.

Step 3: A new page with an Applicant Login Box will be displayed where you will have to click on the link "Register Yourself".

Step 4: Fill the required details and click on the "Sign up" button available at the bottom to complete the registration.

Step 5: A confirmation message will be displayed on the screen, an activation link will be sent on your e-mail ID given by you in the Registration Form along with validation code on your registered mobile number. Click on the activation link to ensure and activate the registration.

Step 6: Enter the validation code sent on your mobile number on the validation page where you will be directed after activating the registration. 

Step 7: Re Login to the admission portal of the university and go to My Application Section. 

Step 8: Choose the preferred course and fill the application form online by entering all the required details like personal information, academic details, contact details, etc.

Step 9: Upload the scanned copies of important documents like academic certificates along with your recent passport size photograph and signature.

Step 10: Make the online payment of Application Fee.

The university will publish the Admit cards on the official websites to be downloaded by the successful; applicants using their log-in credentials to log in to the Admission Portal by clicking on the link- www.jmicoe.in The admit card is an important document to appear for the exam, so the candidates must download it from the official website and keep its printed copy carefully to take along while appearing for the entrance exam with the Photo Id proof i.e. Aadhar Card/ Voter Id Card/Passport, etc.

The first result of the students who participated in JMI BA LLB 2020 will be announced on June 20, 2020, followed by the declaration of the second and third list of JMI BA LLB 2020 results later. The JMI BA LLB 2020 result will contain the score obtained by the candidates along with their provisional qualification status. Based on the result, the eligible candidates will be called for the counselling and seat allocation process. 


JMI BA LLB Counselling 2020 will be conducted by the university only for those participants who will successfully qualify JMI BA LLB 2020, however, after checking the results the qualified candidates will have to register themselves for the counselling process. Upon the successful registration, the students will be notified about the venue and date for the counselling session wherein a series of other rounds will take place that includes documents verification, admission fee payment, etc so the student is advised to take along all the required documents. Failure to attend the counselling process will lead to cancellation of admission.

Students participated in Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) June 2020 TEE, and December 2019 TEE exam will now be allowed to apply for the xerox copies of answer booklets. Indira Gandhi National Open University has decided to allow the students for the revaluation and re totalling of marks, they scored in these examinations.

The results of IGNOU June 2020 TEE were announced on October 1. With the upcoming facility of issuance of the photocopy of answer booklets, the students who were dissatisfied with their results can apply for the revaluation of marks scored in the term-end examinations and the photocopies of IGNOU TEE answer sheets. 

The application for the same will have to be made online on the official website of the university. Students simply need to go to the IGNOU website and click apply on the designated link. After which, a few details need to be filled, followed by the payment of the application fee and submission of the application form. 

It must be noted that the applications for revaluation and photocopies of IGNOU December 2019 TEE and IGNOU June 2020 TEE of exams comprising MCQ type questions are disallowed. 

According to the statement in the IGNOU revaluation window,  “Reevaluation and copy of Answerscripts is not available for the Following Exam for Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type and conducted on OMR sheets.”

Students can apply for and get the photocopies of the answer booklets of IGNOU June TEE and IGNOU December TEE examinations if the answer copy has not been handled for Re-evaluation. Students can either first make an application for the copy of Answer Sheet, followed by an application for Re-evaluation or go for both simultaneously.

Education expenses of NEET topper Akansha Singh will be paid by Uttar Pradesh Government. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made an announcement about the disbursement of her graduation expenses. These expenses will include the expenditure of food and lodging during all the academic levels of her graduation.

Akansha Singh lives in Kushinagar district of UP and has achieved 100% score in NEET 2020 exam.  

Though Akansha was given second rank in the examination, she has been declared as top-ranked along with Soyeb Aftab who is native of Odisha state. On the direction of CM Yogi Adityanath, a letter is to be sent by the chief secretary of UP state, to the authorities concerned for the declaration of NEET 2020 ranks to declare Akansha Singh and Soyeb Aftab, both as the first rankers of NEET 2020 examination as they both have scored 720 marks out of maximum score of 720. 

Besides, personal wishes are sent from UP CM to the family members and parents of AKansha Singh, laurelled the top- scorer as an ideal for all the girls. CM Yogi Adityanath appreciated the hard -work she has made and the high perseverance she has maintained throughout her preparation. 

On the other side, Shoyeb Aftab has also created a history with a full score of 720/720 and All India Rank of 1. He is the first-ever candidate to score 100% in NEET examination. From Odisha state also, he is the first student to Top NEET. With this high score, he hopes to get admission in AIIMS New Delhi. 

NEET 2020 comprises a sum of 180 MCQ type questions for a maximum of 720 marks. Qualified candidates who have scored at least or more than NEET 2020 cut-off are considered eligible to participate in the counselling process of NEET 2020. This implies that the candidates with scores more than NTA NEET 2020 cut-off will be eligible for enrollment to state-quota seats India quota (AIQ) seats through NEET 2020 counselling. The NEET 2020 cutoff for students who belong to General Category is 147. The highest number of students who have qualified NEET 2020 are from Uttar Pradesh followed by Maharashtra.

Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association, KPPGCA has released the admit card for KMAT 2020 for the eligible candidates who applied for the examination by filling the application form and paying the prescribed application fee. The admit card has been released via online mode on the official website of KPPGCA on 27th October 2020. 

Successful candidates need to download their admit card from the official website i.e. kmatindia.com. using their login credentials.

Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2020 is an entrance examination that will be conducted by KPPGCA (Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association) to offer enrollment to the qualified candidates in 189+ AICTE or University accredited Management Schools established in Bangalore and Karnataka. This year, the examination will be conducted on 29th October 2020 for admission to management institutes in the state.

According to an official statement by Raghu Sharma, Rajasthan Health Minister, approval for the additional seats in MBBS in Rajasthan has been granted. 230 additional seats have been green signalled for the MBBS programmes at four medical schools in the state. 50 additional seats will be given to the medical schools in Udaipur and Ajmer. As far as Barmer Medical College is concerned, there will be an increment of 30 seats this year. 

In comparison to last year when there was a total increment of 550 seats, seats added this year are lower. However, if taken together, the total addition in MBBS seats in the last two years reaches 880 in Rajasthan, thereby making a sum of 2830 total MBBS seats in Rajasthan, today. 

The initiation of Srikalyan Government Medical College, Sikar has also received approval by the National Medical Science Commission. The Srikalyan Government Medical College, Sikar will be started in the session 2020-21. 

Sikar is a native district and approval of a medical college in Sikar was great news for Govind Singh Dotasara, Congress State President, who expressed extreme joy through a tweet over the approval.

"The much-awaited Sikar Medical College has received the approval of the National Medical Science Commission. It is a result of the strong will power of the Congress government of the state that the Sikar people have got their right, their medical college," a tweet by Mr Dotasara.

The first round of the NEET 2020 Counselling will start from 27th of October 2020 by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The first round of seat allotment under this process will commence from tomorrow. The counselling process will be conducted only for those candidates who have qualified the NEET 2020 exam. Unqualified aspirants will not be able to take part in the same. However, the registration is mandatory for the eligible candidates to participate in the counselling. 

Registration for the first round of seat allotment needs to be done on the official website of MCC - mcc.nic.in. and will remain open till 2nd November 2020 before 5 pm. It must be noted that registration must be done before the deadlines otherwise the participation in the seat allotment process is prohibited. 

NEET 2020 registration process seeks the names of the courses and colleges preferred by the candidates that means the candidates will have to fill in their choices about the college and the course during the registration process. However, the candidates will be allowed to fill in their preference within a specific course of time i.e. from 28th October 2020 to 2nd November 2020, after that the preferences will be frozen. 

Followed by the 2nd round of seat allotment, details about which will be notified very soon, the 1st round will be conducted on 3rd and 4th November and the results of the same will be declared on 5th November 2020. Here is the process to register for the counselling process of NEET 2020:
