Lovely Professional University National Eligibility and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST) is a university level examination organized by the university to offer admissions into various courses like Hotel Management, Engineering, Business & Administration, Agriculture, Law etc. This exam is organized by the university twice a year. The exam acts as a scholarship test as the university provides scholarships up to 5 lakh to the candidate, based on the performance in the exam.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are requested to go through the eligibility criteria before applying for any course. There is a certain minimum eligibility criterion for admission, which is mentioned below.

* Only Indian residents are eligible.

* Candidates must have completed the 10 + 2 examination.

* Candidates, who are appearing for the final 10 + 2 examination in the year 2020, can also apply for undergraduate courses.

* For admission in undergraduate programs, candidates should have at least 60% aggregate marks in 10 + 2 or equivalent.

Scholarship for LPUNEST 2020

The scholarship will be given to the candidates based on their performance in entrance exams.

* Eligibility Qualification – 10 + 2 for an undergraduate course and graduate degree for Postgraduate course.

* Candidates have to appear for LPU’s entrance and Scholarship Exam – LPUNEST 2020 

* Candidates can appear for various national level entrance exams like JEE Main, NEET, CAT, NEET, MAT, GATE, GPAT, etc.

* Scholarships are also available based on:

=> Marks in qualifying exams

=> Performance in various activities like sports, cultural, R&D, extra-curricular, social service, and Bravery Awards.

=> Special Scholarship for Topper of the educational board.

=> There will be a Fees concession for defence and central armed police forces (CAPF) personnel and their belongings. 

Application form 2020

LPUNEST 2020 application forms were released by the University for the different UG and PG programs. The aspirants can apply for the test vial online and offline method. Candidates can also consider buying the application form and LPU kit from various centres.

* The candidates can apply for the test online as well as offline mode.

* Candidates are required to fill the necessary information in the application form.

* While submitting the LPUNEST 2020 application form, candidates need to confirm the exam centre and book the slot for the exam.

* Candidates need to make  the payment of application fee to submit the application form.

Application form fees

Applicants can pay the fees online and offline.

* For online payment, candidates can pay the fees through via credit card, debit card on the net banking system

* For offline payment options, candidates can pay fees at the institute or any other prescribed place.

* The fees for an online application form and soft copy of the LPU kit is INR 800 for Boys and INR 500 for girls.

* The fees for an online application form and printed copy of the LPU kit is INR 1000 for Boys and INR 700 for girls.

* The fee for an offline application form and soft printed LPU kit is INR 800  for Boys and INR 500  for girls.

Slot booking

* For the slot booking, candidates have to visit the official website of LPU after submitting the application form.

* Applicants can book their desired date, time slot, and place.

* Candidates have to book a seat before 3 days of the exam date.

* Slot selecting will be done based on the first come first serve.

* It is strongly recommended to the candidates to book their slots as soon as possible. The procrastination may lead them to the inconvenience.

Admit card

* After booking the slot, candidates can download the admit card online.

* Candidates, whose exam slots get confirmed by the university, can download it after 48 hours of slot selection.

* University will not post the admit cards individually to every candidate.

 Exam pattern

* Online mode.

* MCQs types questions.

* The language of the paper is English

* The time-length of the exam is 150 minutes.

* Total of 110 questions under sections- Maths/bio, physics, and chemistry.

* No negative marking system in LPUNEST 2020.

Result

* To check the results, the candidates will need the login username and Password.

* The result of LPUNEST will be also sent to the candidate's registered E-mail ID.

Counselling LPUNEST 2020

* Based on the cut-off, the candidates are invited for counselling.

* Selected candidates have to select the course of their choice and upload the required documents.

* After the verification of the documents, seats are allotted to the candidates for admission.

IGNOU 2020 TEE Answer Booklets & Re-evaluation Now Allowed to Applicants

Students participated in Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) June 2020 TEE, and December 2019 TEE exam will now be allowed to apply for the xerox copies of answer booklets. Indira Gandhi National Open University has decided to allow the students for the revaluation and re totalling of marks, they scored in these examinations.

The results of IGNOU June 2020 TEE were announced on October 1. With the upcoming facility of issuance of the photocopy of answer booklets, the students who were dissatisfied with their results can apply for the revaluation of marks scored in the term-end examinations and the photocopies of IGNOU TEE answer sheets. 

The application for the same will have to be made online on the official website of the university. Students simply need to go to the IGNOU website and click apply on the designated link. After which, a few details need to be filled, followed by the payment of the application fee and submission of the application form. 

It must be noted that the applications for revaluation and photocopies of IGNOU December 2019 TEE and IGNOU June 2020 TEE of exams comprising MCQ type questions are disallowed. 

According to the statement in the IGNOU revaluation window,  “Reevaluation and copy of Answerscripts is not available for the Following Exam for Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type and conducted on OMR sheets.”

Students can apply for and get the photocopies of the answer booklets of IGNOU June TEE and IGNOU December TEE examinations if the answer copy has not been handled for Re-evaluation. Students can either first make an application for the copy of Answer Sheet, followed by an application for Re-evaluation or go for both simultaneously.

UP Govt to pay Education Expenses of NEET Topper

Education expenses of NEET topper Akansha Singh will be paid by Uttar Pradesh Government. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made an announcement about the disbursement of her graduation expenses. These expenses will include the expenditure of food and lodging during all the academic levels of her graduation.

Akansha Singh lives in Kushinagar district of UP and has achieved 100% score in NEET 2020 exam.  

Though Akansha was given second rank in the examination, she has been declared as top-ranked along with Soyeb Aftab who is native of Odisha state. On the direction of CM Yogi Adityanath, a letter is to be sent by the chief secretary of UP state, to the authorities concerned for the declaration of NEET 2020 ranks to declare Akansha Singh and Soyeb Aftab, both as the first rankers of NEET 2020 examination as they both have scored 720 marks out of maximum score of 720. 

Besides, personal wishes are sent from UP CM to the family members and parents of AKansha Singh, laurelled the top- scorer as an ideal for all the girls. CM Yogi Adityanath appreciated the hard -work she has made and the high perseverance she has maintained throughout her preparation. 

On the other side, Shoyeb Aftab has also created a history with a full score of 720/720 and All India Rank of 1. He is the first-ever candidate to score 100% in NEET examination. From Odisha state also, he is the first student to Top NEET. With this high score, he hopes to get admission in AIIMS New Delhi. 

NEET 2020 comprises a sum of 180 MCQ type questions for a maximum of 720 marks. Qualified candidates who have scored at least or more than NEET 2020 cut-off are considered eligible to participate in the counselling process of NEET 2020. This implies that the candidates with scores more than NTA NEET 2020 cut-off will be eligible for enrollment to state-quota seats India quota (AIQ) seats through NEET 2020 counselling. The NEET 2020 cutoff for students who belong to General Category is 147. The highest number of students who have qualified NEET 2020 are from Uttar Pradesh followed by Maharashtra.

KPPGCA Releases KMAT 2020 Admit Card

Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association, KPPGCA has released the admit card for KMAT 2020 for the eligible candidates who applied for the examination by filling the application form and paying the prescribed application fee. The admit card has been released via online mode on the official website of KPPGCA on 27th October 2020. 

Successful candidates need to download their admit card from the official website i.e. kmatindia.com. using their login credentials.

Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2020 is an entrance examination that will be conducted by KPPGCA (Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association) to offer enrollment to the qualified candidates in 189+ AICTE or University accredited Management Schools established in Bangalore and Karnataka. This year, the examination will be conducted on 29th October 2020 for admission to management institutes in the state. 

The exam will take place via online mode, keeping in mind all the precautionary measures amid COVID-19. All the participants must carry along their KMAT Admit Card otherwise the entry to the exam hall is prohibited. Check below the simple steps to download the KMAT 2020 Admit Card.

According to an official statement by Raghu Sharma, Rajasthan Health Minister, approval for the additional seats in MBBS in Rajasthan has been granted. 230 additional seats have been green signalled for the MBBS programmes at four medical schools in the state. 50 additional seats will be given to the medical schools in Udaipur and Ajmer. As far as Barmer Medical College is concerned, there will be an increment of 30 seats this year. 

In comparison to last year when there was a total increment of 550 seats, seats added this year are lower. However, if taken together, the total addition in MBBS seats in the last two years reaches 880 in Rajasthan, thereby making a sum of 2830 total MBBS seats in Rajasthan, today. 

The initiation of Srikalyan Government Medical College, Sikar has also received approval by the National Medical Science Commission. The Srikalyan Government Medical College, Sikar will be started in the session 2020-21. 

Sikar is a native district and approval of a medical college in Sikar was great news for Govind Singh Dotasara, Congress State President, who expressed extreme joy through a tweet over the approval.

"The much-awaited Sikar Medical College has received the approval of the National Medical Science Commission. It is a result of the strong will power of the Congress government of the state that the Sikar people have got their right, their medical college," a tweet by Mr Dotasara.

The news highlights the commencement of first round of NEET 2020 Counselling from Tomorrow

The first round of the NEET 2020 Counselling will start from 27th of October 2020 by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The first round of seat allotment under this process will commence from tomorrow. The counselling process will be conducted only for those candidates who have qualified the NEET 2020 exam. Unqualified aspirants will not be able to take part in the same. However, the registration is mandatory for the eligible candidates to participate in the counselling. 

Registration for the first round of seat allotment needs to be done on the official website of MCC - mcc.nic.in. and will remain open till 2nd November 2020 before 5 pm. It must be noted that registration must be done before the deadlines otherwise the participation in the seat allotment process is prohibited. 

NEET 2020 registration process seeks the names of the courses and colleges preferred by the candidates that means the candidates will have to fill in their choices about the college and the course during the registration process. However, the candidates will be allowed to fill in their preference within a specific course of time i.e. from 28th October 2020 to 2nd November 2020, after that the preferences will be frozen. 

Followed by the 2nd round of seat allotment, details about which will be notified very soon, the 1st round will be conducted on 3rd and 4th November and the results of the same will be declared on 5th November 2020. Here is the process to register for the counselling process of NEET 2020:

NEET counselling 2020: Online registration process

Step 1: Go to the official website of MCC i.e. mcc.nic.in.

Step 2: Find and click on the ‘UG Medical Counselling’ link available on the homepage.

Step 3: Click on ‘New Registration’.

Step 4: Save your new login ID and password that will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Click on ‘Candidate Login’ and enter your new login credentials.

Step 6: Enter all the details asked.

Step 7: You will get a registration slip after filling all the details. 

Step 8: Make a payment of the registration fee. 

The registration fee needs to be paid before the deadline and the due date for the payment of the registration fee for NEET 2020 Counselling's first round is 2nd November 2020.
