FET (Fellowship Entrance Test) is an online eligibility-cum-ranking test for enrollments in an array of fellowship courses offered under the National Board of Examinations (NBE) which is a conducting body of FET. FET is an entrance exam for admissions to Post-Doctoral FNB programmes conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) in a computer-based mode. Upon the successful qualification of the Post-Doctoral FNB courses, the candidates are laurelled as Fellow of NBE at the annual convocation conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE). The Fellowship Programme can be pursued in any specializations as per the student’s choice, provided they meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by NBE.

Recent Updates
The examination date for FET 2020 is out, according to which the exam is going to be held in the last week of August. Registrations for the same will start in the 2nd week of July. The deadline to fill the application form for the examination will tentatively be in the last week of July. The applicants will be notified about the errors in the application form (in case of any) by the 1st week of August. The admit card of FET 2020 will be released only for the entirely correct applications in the 3rd week of August.

FET 2020: Eligibility Criteria
Minimum qualification
- Candidate must be a PG medical degree holder - MD/ MS/ DM/ MCh/ DNB in the appropriate specialization from a recognised board or institute.
- Candidate who will qualify the degree qualification on or before July 15, 2020, will also be considered eligible to take FET 2020
Age Limit
- Any upper or lower age limit has not been prescribed for the candidates who wish to apply for FET 2020
MCI/ SMC Registration
- Candidates must hold a permanent registration certificate from the Medical Council of India(MCI) or the State Medical Council(SMC).

FET 2020: Admission Process
Admission to the FNB programmes relies merely on the FET 2020 merit list. The allocation of seats will be done via a centralised counselling process.
Steps of Admission Process:
Filling the FET 2020 application form.
For the successful submission of the application form, a candidate needs to execute the following steps:
- Creta user ID and password to complete the registration on the official website.
- Use the login credentials to fill the application form
- Enter all the required details in the application form.
- Upload the scanned images of all the required documents, Passport size photograph and Sign.
- Select the preferred examination city.
- Make payment of the application fee.
- Take print out of the filled application form with transaction ID.

Application fee is the same for all the categories i.e. INR 3750/-
Mode of payment to pay the application fee is online using Credit Card/Debit Card/Net banking.
Downloading the Admit Card
Admit card for FET entrance exam is released online to be downloaded by those candidates who are successful applicants i.e. who are eligible and who have paid the application fee & uploaded all the valid documents. Admit card is an important and must-carry along document to appear for the examination.
Appearing for the FET 2020
Candidates must report to the examination city and centre on the date of the FET exam to take the examination.
NBE FET 2020: Exam Scheme
- The candidates appearing for the NBE FET 2020 exam must remember that they can opt for only one fellowship program or clubbed programmes for which their super-speciality/ broad qualification is eligible.
- In general, 40% of questions in the NBE FET exam 2020 have their roots in eligible broad or speciality programmes, and the rest 60% of questions are from the fellowship programmes opted by the candidates.
- The total duration of 105 minutes/1 Hour 45 Minutes is given to the candidates to complete the NBE FET exam.
- 45 minutes are given to answer Part Awhile 60 minutes are given to attempt Part B of NBE FET examination.
