National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination 2020
NDA is one of the most popular defence entrance exams in India that is organised twice a year to offer admission to Navy, Army and Air Force wings of NDA as well as Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). NDA exam is conducted in dual stages viz. written exam and SSB Interview. Every year, around 4 lakh aspirants appear for this exam, out of which approx 6000 get shortlisted for SSB Interview.

NDA (II) 2020 Rejected applicants list has been published on the ground of non-payment of application fee. Admit Cards for the successful applicants will be released soon. NDA 2020 Exam 1 and Exam 2, both will be conducted by Union Public Service Commission on September 6, 2020.

NDA 2020: Selection Process
NDA 2020: Application form
Interested aspirants need to fill an application form for NDA exam in an online mode. Upon the successful registration on the official website of NDA, the candidate needs to enter the valid details in the application form and submit it after paying the stipulated application fee of INR 100. The application fee can be paid either via online mode or offline mode. After the closure of the application window, the conducting body publishes a list of rejected applicants and also activates the link that allows uninterested applicants to withdraw their NDA application form. NDA 2020: Admit Card
The commission starts the issuance of Admit Cards three week prior to the examination date in an online mode. Successful applicants can download their admit cards by clicking on a link that is available on the official website of NDA, after logging in using their roll number or registration number. Candidates must note that any hard copy of the admit card is not posted individually to the applicants.
NDA 2020: Written Examination
Successfully registered applicants need to appear for the written test on the stipulated date, time and test centre. There are two sections in the written examination- Mathematics and General Ability Test that together carry a total of 900 marks. Shortlisted candidates who obtain least qualifying scores in the written exam are invited to participate in the SSB Interview.

NDA 2020: Result
The result for NDA is announced in two phases viz. Written and Final. The NDA 2020 result will be declared on the official website after the completion of the written test and publication of the answer key. The NDA 2020 I & II results are anticipated to be released in online mode in the month of November 2020. Candidates who qualify the written test with the specified qualifying score are called for the SSB Interview round.
NDA 2020: SSB Interview
The SSB Interview is organised to evaluate the Intelligence and Personality Test of the applicant in two stages. All the shortlisted candidates are first set out on Stage 1 test on the initial day of reporting at Air Force Selection Boards/Naval Selection Boards or Selection Centres. Candidates who qualify the 1st stage are called for the 2nd stage examination and the candidates who qualify the 2nd stage need to submit a birth certificate along with a pass certificate.

Final Selection
Based on the overall performance in the written examinations and SSB interview, the candidate is finally selected for the enrollment into the Army, Navy & Air Force wings of NDA and INAC. Seats are finally allocated depending on total availability of vacancies, medical fitness of the candidates and merit-based-preference.
