NMIMS NPAT 2021 entrance examination is an accredited examination that is conducted every year by the NARSEE MONJEE INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES to offer admissions to UG Degree and Integrated Degree Programs in the NMIMS University. Through this examination, the competency of the candidate is evaluated before offering them admission into courses like Engineering and technology, pharmacy, Management, Architecture offered by the campuses of NIMS university at Bengaluru, Indore, Shripur and Navi Mumbai.

NPAT 2021: Eligibility.

There is an eligibility criteria for NPAT examination.  If a candidate fails to fulfill the eligibility criteria then officials will reject the application form. Here are the eligibility criteria mentioned by Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS).

  • Candidates applying for NPAT exam must have completed Class 12 or equivalent examination (inclusive of International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma in any stream)
  • Candidates exceeding the age of 25 years are not eligible to apply for the exam
  • Candidates can submit an IB diploma only if it is awarded by a recognized board. IB certificate holders are not eligible for the test.
  • Candidates must have obtained an aggregate of 60% in 10+2 or equivalent examination
  • Candidates who have not been able to clear 10+2 either from CBSE or ICSE board or IB diploma in their first attempt are not eligible for the NPAT exam
  • Candidates having cleared either CBSE/ ICSE board exam need to mention the aggregate marks of all the subjects of Class 10 or equivalent examination. The marks of the best of four or five subjects will not be considered.
  • Candidates holding IB Diploma will be eligible only if he/she has Mathematics/ Statistics at the standard level 

How to apply for NPAT 2021?

  • Go to the official website 
  • Fill in the details required i.e. date of birth, gender, name, email ID, mobile number and click the “‘submit” button.
  • After the generation of the application number, click on the ‘edit’ button and fill the application form.
  • Click on the ‘save and next’ button and enter your academic details.
  • Upload the recent passport size photograph in the application form in jpg format of size not more than 200 kb.
  • Select the schools you wish to apply →  click ‘save and continue’ button.
  • Click the ‘payment’ tab.
  • Pay the application fees through online mode using credit card/ debit card or net banking.
  • Click on the ‘submit’ button after details verification.
  • Take a few printouts of the filled application form and keep them.

NMIMS- NPAT 2021: Exam-Pattern

NMIMS NPAT 2021: Syllabus

Maths:- Arithmetic, trigonometry,  set and functions, statistics and probability, algebra and number system

English:- Reading comprehension, Synonyms, Cloze test, Para- Jumble Spot the error/Sentence completion, and vocabulary.

Reasoning and general awareness:- Critical thinking Analytical reasoning, Series & sequences, Data Interpretation (Bar Graph, Line Graph, Pie Chart, Table Chart), Blood relation, Analogy, Syllogism, Visual reasoning, and verbal- logical reasoning. 

General Awareness and Design: General awareness for the environment, awareness for social and cultural awareness, and history of art sculpture and literature. 

NPAT 2021: Admit Card

  • Admit card will be released in the first week of May 2021 on the official website of the NMIMS for the eligible candidate by the authorities
  • The candidates will need to enter their NPAT ID and password which was generated during the registration, to download the admit card.
  • Important details like venue, date, timings, etc will be mentioned on an admit card.
  • Candidate without admit cards will not be allowed to enter in the examination hall.
  • Admit card will not  send by NMIMS by post or any other offline medium

NPAT 2021: Result

  • The result will be released on the official website in the first week of June 2021.
  • By entering DOB(date of birth) and NPAT ID candidates will be able to access their results.
  • Merit list for admission of different courses will be published along with the results by the respective authorities.
  • The successful candidate will be called for the counseling process

NPAT 2021: Cut-off

  • NPAT Cut off 2021 will be announced through online mode alongside the result.
  • NPAT 2021 Cut off would mean the minimum score that a candidate will need to score to be considered as eligible. 
  • Based on the cut off marks candidates will be invited to participate in the counselling

CAT cut off marks for admissions will be based on different factors like:

  • Number of candidates who marked their presence in the examination.
  • Number of seats offered by the university. 
  • Passing percentage of candidates in the examination.
  • Difficulty level of CMAT examination.
  • Overall performances of the qualifying candidate.

NPAT 2021: Counselling

  • The counselling will start after the declaration of the result, merit list, and cut off marks.
  • The candidate should have to download the call/admission letter from the officials portal to take part in counseling
  • Counseling will be in online mode only in the third week of June 2021.
  • Preferences of course should be provided by the candidate during the counseling process.
  •  Verification of the document will be verified by admission authorities during counseling only.

Yes, candidates appearing in 12 th standard are eligible for this examination.

Yes, the institute will provide correction facilities for sometime.

Is there any negative marking in the examination?

No, there is no negative marking as such.

Is it mandatory to carry a hard copy of the Admit Card while appearing for NPAT 2021?

Yes, it is mandatory to carry a hard copy of the admit card while appearing for NPAT 2021, without Admit Card an applicant is not allowed to enter the examination hall and the digital copy is not allowed. 

What are the other documents other than the admit card that we need to carry to appear for the exam?

Printout of the admit card along with original photo identity proof like PAN Card, Voter ID, Aadhar etc. needs to be carried while appearing for the exam. 

Is it mandatory to carry all the specified documents to participate in the counselling ?

Students participated in Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) June 2020 TEE, and December 2019 TEE exam will now be allowed to apply for the xerox copies of answer booklets. Indira Gandhi National Open University has decided to allow the students for the revaluation and re totalling of marks, they scored in these examinations.

The results of IGNOU June 2020 TEE were announced on October 1. With the upcoming facility of issuance of the photocopy of answer booklets, the students who were dissatisfied with their results can apply for the revaluation of marks scored in the term-end examinations and the photocopies of IGNOU TEE answer sheets. 

The application for the same will have to be made online on the official website of the university. Students simply need to go to the IGNOU website and click apply on the designated link. After which, a few details need to be filled, followed by the payment of the application fee and submission of the application form. 

It must be noted that the applications for revaluation and photocopies of IGNOU December 2019 TEE and IGNOU June 2020 TEE of exams comprising MCQ type questions are disallowed. 

According to the statement in the IGNOU revaluation window,  “Reevaluation and copy of Answerscripts is not available for the Following Exam for Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type and conducted on OMR sheets.”

Students can apply for and get the photocopies of the answer booklets of IGNOU June TEE and IGNOU December TEE examinations if the answer copy has not been handled for Re-evaluation. Students can either first make an application for the copy of Answer Sheet, followed by an application for Re-evaluation or go for both simultaneously.

Education expenses of NEET topper Akansha Singh will be paid by Uttar Pradesh Government. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made an announcement about the disbursement of her graduation expenses. These expenses will include the expenditure of food and lodging during all the academic levels of her graduation.

Akansha Singh lives in Kushinagar district of UP and has achieved 100% score in NEET 2020 exam.  

Though Akansha was given second rank in the examination, she has been declared as top-ranked along with Soyeb Aftab who is native of Odisha state. On the direction of CM Yogi Adityanath, a letter is to be sent by the chief secretary of UP state, to the authorities concerned for the declaration of NEET 2020 ranks to declare Akansha Singh and Soyeb Aftab, both as the first rankers of NEET 2020 examination as they both have scored 720 marks out of maximum score of 720. 

Besides, personal wishes are sent from UP CM to the family members and parents of AKansha Singh, laurelled the top- scorer as an ideal for all the girls. CM Yogi Adityanath appreciated the hard -work she has made and the high perseverance she has maintained throughout her preparation. 

On the other side, Shoyeb Aftab has also created a history with a full score of 720/720 and All India Rank of 1. He is the first-ever candidate to score 100% in NEET examination. From Odisha state also, he is the first student to Top NEET. With this high score, he hopes to get admission in AIIMS New Delhi. 

NEET 2020 comprises a sum of 180 MCQ type questions for a maximum of 720 marks. Qualified candidates who have scored at least or more than NEET 2020 cut-off are considered eligible to participate in the counselling process of NEET 2020. This implies that the candidates with scores more than NTA NEET 2020 cut-off will be eligible for enrollment to state-quota seats India quota (AIQ) seats through NEET 2020 counselling. The NEET 2020 cutoff for students who belong to General Category is 147. The highest number of students who have qualified NEET 2020 are from Uttar Pradesh followed by Maharashtra.

Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association, KPPGCA has released the admit card for KMAT 2020 for the eligible candidates who applied for the examination by filling the application form and paying the prescribed application fee. The admit card has been released via online mode on the official website of KPPGCA on 27th October 2020. 

Successful candidates need to download their admit card from the official website i.e. kmatindia.com. using their login credentials.

Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2020 is an entrance examination that will be conducted by KPPGCA (Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association) to offer enrollment to the qualified candidates in 189+ AICTE or University accredited Management Schools established in Bangalore and Karnataka. This year, the examination will be conducted on 29th October 2020 for admission to management institutes in the state. 

The exam will take place via online mode, keeping in mind all the precautionary measures amid COVID-19. All the participants must carry along their KMAT Admit Card otherwise the entry to the exam hall is prohibited. Check below the simple steps to download the KMAT 2020 Admit Card.

According to an official statement by Raghu Sharma, Rajasthan Health Minister, approval for the additional seats in MBBS in Rajasthan has been granted. 230 additional seats have been green signalled for the MBBS programmes at four medical schools in the state. 50 additional seats will be given to the medical schools in Udaipur and Ajmer. As far as Barmer Medical College is concerned, there will be an increment of 30 seats this year. 

In comparison to last year when there was a total increment of 550 seats, seats added this year are lower. However, if taken together, the total addition in MBBS seats in the last two years reaches 880 in Rajasthan, thereby making a sum of 2830 total MBBS seats in Rajasthan, today. 

The initiation of Srikalyan Government Medical College, Sikar has also received approval by the National Medical Science Commission. The Srikalyan Government Medical College, Sikar will be started in the session 2020-21. 

Sikar is a native district and approval of a medical college in Sikar was great news for Govind Singh Dotasara, Congress State President, who expressed extreme joy through a tweet over the approval.

"The much-awaited Sikar Medical College has received the approval of the National Medical Science Commission. It is a result of the strong will power of the Congress government of the state that the Sikar people have got their right, their medical college," a tweet by Mr Dotasara.

The news highlights the commencement of first round of NEET 2020 Counselling from Tomorrow

The first round of the NEET 2020 Counselling will start from 27th of October 2020 by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The first round of seat allotment under this process will commence from tomorrow. The counselling process will be conducted only for those candidates who have qualified the NEET 2020 exam. Unqualified aspirants will not be able to take part in the same. However, the registration is mandatory for the eligible candidates to participate in the counselling. 

Registration for the first round of seat allotment needs to be done on the official website of MCC - mcc.nic.in. and will remain open till 2nd November 2020 before 5 pm. It must be noted that registration must be done before the deadlines otherwise the participation in the seat allotment process is prohibited. 

NEET 2020 registration process seeks the names of the courses and colleges preferred by the candidates that means the candidates will have to fill in their choices about the college and the course during the registration process. However, the candidates will be allowed to fill in their preference within a specific course of time i.e. from 28th October 2020 to 2nd November 2020, after that the preferences will be frozen. 

Followed by the 2nd round of seat allotment, details about which will be notified very soon, the 1st round will be conducted on 3rd and 4th November and the results of the same will be declared on 5th November 2020. Here is the process to register for the counselling process of NEET 2020:

Step 1: Go to the official website of MCC i.e. mcc.nic.in.

Step 2: Find and click on the ‘UG Medical Counselling’ link available on the homepage.

Step 3: Click on ‘New Registration’.

Step 4: Save your new login ID and password that will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Click on ‘Candidate Login’ and enter your new login credentials.

Step 6: Enter all the details asked.

Step 7: You will get a registration slip after filling all the details. 

Step 8: Make a payment of the registration fee. 

The registration fee needs to be paid before the deadline and the due date for the payment of the registration fee for NEET 2020 Counselling's first round is 2nd November 2020.
