This test takes place twice every year to evaluate the competencies of mainly the male bodies who seek a career in the Indian Army. Latest Notification

A notification for the 10+2 technical entry scheme for the year 2021 January program has been released by Indian Army who is responsible to publish the notifications related to the TES. Candidates with PCM as their subject in standard 12th are invited to fill the application form to appear for the examination to join the Indian Army. Such notifications mainly target the male bodies of India so that they can become a part of Indian Army and serve the country. Every year the notification of the Technical Entry Scheme is released twice- one in April and other November.

TES 2021: Vacancies

According to the latest updates, a total of 90 vacancies are available for the grant of permanent commission in the Indian Army. These are the vacancies for the January and July 2021 sessions. However, the number of seats available for allotment may vary in case of unpredicted circumstance. Total vacancies may vary as per the total requirement of the organisation. Based on the total requirement at the training Academy, the number of seats may increase or decrease. 

TES 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are seeking admissions into the Indian Army Technical Entry Scheme (TES) 2021 must have the following eligibility criteria. 

Nationality: A candidate has to be :

  • Indian Citizen.
  • The Citizens from Nepal and Bhutan can also apply
  • The refugees from Tibet who settled in India before 1st July 1962 permanently.
  • An individual of Indian origin who had migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, and some countries from east Africa- Kenya, Zambia, Republic of Tanzania, Uganda, Zaire, Malawi, Ethiopia, Vietnam with an intent to permanently settle down in India.

Note: Candidates from the aforementioned 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th categories would need an eligibility certificate issued by Govt of India before the announcement of SSB result by SS or before joining the training.

For the candidates of the Gorkha subject of Nepal, Eligibility Certificate is not necessary 

Age Limit: Candidate should be born between 02nd January 2002 and 01st January 2005.

An applicant must be older than 16½ years and younger than 19½ years on the month’s first day in which the course is starting.

Educational Qualification: The candidates who have passed their 10 + 2 examinations from any reputed institute of India with minimum 70% marks in Physics, mathematics, and chemistry.

TES 2021: Application Process

Candidates have to apply online on the website of the Indian Army Technical Entry Scheme 2021. Following is the procedure, how to apply for the Indian Army TES 2021.

  • The candidates must have to visit www.joinindianarmy.nic.in
  • After that click on the link ONLINE APPLICATION FOR TES 2021.
  • On a new page, a Pre-Registration form will be opened and candidates must have to fill all the details in this form carefully.
  • After submitting all the details he has to login with the specified “USERNAME” and “PASSWORD” in that form.
  • After logging in a detailed application form will be opened and candidates have to fill all the required details carefully and the details and upload Class 10th and Class 12th passing certificate and valid ID proof that must be the academic documents because these documents will have to be produced by the candidate at the selection center.
  • Now check the details filled in the form then submit it and take the print out of applications form.
  • Candidates are free to modify the application form till the last date of closing.

TES 2021: Application Form 

Application forms for TES 2021 will be downloadable from the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. and will have to be submitted online. The forms seek information about academic records along with personal details and the scanned copies of some important documents which need to be submitted online. After the submission of the Online Application via online mode, take two print-outs of the online Application Form that carries produced Application Number. One of these printouts of the Application Form needs to be marked and posted to the prescribed address i.e. Post Box No. 04, Nirman Bhawan PO, New Delhi-110011. Along with the application form, some other documents also have to be posted like Self-verified photo, photograph duplicates of 10th and 12th standard pass declarations & Mark Sheets i.e. are attested by a gazetted officer. 

The candidates are advised to follow the whole application process very carefully and read all the terms and conditions mentioned on the application form to avert the chances of rejection of application form. After the successful submission of the application form, a confirmation alongside the auto-generated Roll Number will be sent to the applicants. After receiving the confirmation from the authorities, all the applicants must take out 2 print outs of the filled application form, among which one must be duly signed and self-attested by the applicants. The signed print out must be carried along to the selection center of the SSB interview with the mark-sheet of the 10th and 12th Class Board examination, twenty passport sizes attested photographs and the original ID proof like Aadhaar Card or Voter ID card. The second printout must be kept safe for future reference. One candidate is allowed to submit only one application and the submission of more than one application by the same candidate will result in the cancellation of the application.

TES 2021 Application Fee

No application fee is applicable to appear for Indian Army TES 2021. However, once the candidate is finally selected, he needs to pay a fee of INR 8785/week of the duration for which he stays at the officer training Academy, Gaya training Wing/Academy.

TES 2021: Selection Procedure

Shortlisting of Application:

MOD (Army) from Integrated Headquarter will shortlist the applicants based on cut-off percentages as decided.

After shortlisting the application, the selection center is issued to the candidates online. Candidates can choose from the following selection centers - Allahabad (UP), Bangalore (Karnataka), or Kapurthala (Punjab), Bhopal (MP).  

  • The selection process will be held at the discretion of the director-general of recruiting, integrated headquarters of MOD. Requests for changes regarding the same will not be entertained.

After that the allotment of the selection center based on the first come first serve criteria and dates chosen by the candidates, candidates will have to report to the specified center on the selected date.

Candidates need to report to the chosen selection center on their respective dates of SSB with all their documents and call up letters. Any type of discrepancy in the documents will not be accepted. 

Respective selection center will issue a call letter for SSB interview on e-mail ID and Mobile Number only given by the candidate.

SSB Interview process

  1. SSB interviews will be conducted at specified selection centers and candidates will be put in a two-stage selection process.
  2. Those who qualify the stage I will move to stage II otherwise they will be returned to their home on the same day.
  3. The candidate who has been recommended after stage 2 will have to go through a medical examination which is described below as a subheading.
  4. The complete SSB interview duration is of five days. Candidates can check the details of the SSB interview on the website- www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.

Medical Examination:

  • The candidate must be good physically and mentally fit and must not have suffered from any kind of disease or disability.
  • 157.5 ems is the minimum acceptable height. Gorkhas, individuals belonging to hills of the North-Eastern regions of India, Garhwal, and Kumaon can apply if their height is 5 ems less than minimum height required. The minimum acceptable height can be reduced by 2 ems for candidates from Lakshadweep

Document needed to produce at the selection center

 According to the official notification, candidates need to bring two Xerox copies of each document along with the original one when commuting to the SSB selection center. If there is any discrepancy with the set of documents the candidate will not be entertained at any cost. If a candidate cleared 1st stage then after if discrepancy will be found then the candidature will be disqualified. The set of documents required is as follows. 

  1. One printout of the application form.
  2. Original mark sheet/certificate of Class 10th showing DOB.
  3. Original mark sheet/certificate of Class 12th.
  4. Original ID proof.
  5. 20 Self-attested passport size photographs along with the Application Form.

Note: 2 self-attested photocopies of the aforesaid certificates will be required during SSB interview and original copies will be returned after the successful verification at the SSB. 

TES 2021: Results

After the completion of the interview process, the SSB will prepare a final list of medically fit applicants who are competent enough to join the Indian Army. SSB will send a joining-letter to these qualified aspirants based on the merit list.

TES 2021: Training

Training will be provided to the candidates in two phases. In the first phase, the military training will be imparted and in the second phase, technical training will be given. The military training will be of one year and will take place at the officer training academy, Gaya. The technical training will be of 4 years duration. On the successful completion of training, an approval for Permanent Commission in the Army will be issued to the candidates.

IGNOU 2020 TEE Answer Booklets & Re-evaluation Now Allowed to Applicants

Students participated in Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) June 2020 TEE, and December 2019 TEE exam will now be allowed to apply for the xerox copies of answer booklets. Indira Gandhi National Open University has decided to allow the students for the revaluation and re totalling of marks, they scored in these examinations.

The results of IGNOU June 2020 TEE were announced on October 1. With the upcoming facility of issuance of the photocopy of answer booklets, the students who were dissatisfied with their results can apply for the revaluation of marks scored in the term-end examinations and the photocopies of IGNOU TEE answer sheets. 

The application for the same will have to be made online on the official website of the university. Students simply need to go to the IGNOU website and click apply on the designated link. After which, a few details need to be filled, followed by the payment of the application fee and submission of the application form. 

It must be noted that the applications for revaluation and photocopies of IGNOU December 2019 TEE and IGNOU June 2020 TEE of exams comprising MCQ type questions are disallowed. 

According to the statement in the IGNOU revaluation window,  “Reevaluation and copy of Answerscripts is not available for the Following Exam for Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type and conducted on OMR sheets.”

Students can apply for and get the photocopies of the answer booklets of IGNOU June TEE and IGNOU December TEE examinations if the answer copy has not been handled for Re-evaluation. Students can either first make an application for the copy of Answer Sheet, followed by an application for Re-evaluation or go for both simultaneously.

Education expenses of NEET topper Akansha Singh will be paid by Uttar Pradesh Government. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made an announcement about the disbursement of her graduation expenses. These expenses will include the expenditure of food and lodging during all the academic levels of her graduation.

Akansha Singh lives in Kushinagar district of UP and has achieved 100% score in NEET 2020 exam.  

Though Akansha was given second rank in the examination, she has been declared as top-ranked along with Soyeb Aftab who is native of Odisha state. On the direction of CM Yogi Adityanath, a letter is to be sent by the chief secretary of UP state, to the authorities concerned for the declaration of NEET 2020 ranks to declare Akansha Singh and Soyeb Aftab, both as the first rankers of NEET 2020 examination as they both have scored 720 marks out of maximum score of 720. 

Besides, personal wishes are sent from UP CM to the family members and parents of AKansha Singh, laurelled the top- scorer as an ideal for all the girls. CM Yogi Adityanath appreciated the hard -work she has made and the high perseverance she has maintained throughout her preparation. 

On the other side, Shoyeb Aftab has also created a history with a full score of 720/720 and All India Rank of 1. He is the first-ever candidate to score 100% in NEET examination. From Odisha state also, he is the first student to Top NEET. With this high score, he hopes to get admission in AIIMS New Delhi. 

NEET 2020 comprises a sum of 180 MCQ type questions for a maximum of 720 marks. Qualified candidates who have scored at least or more than NEET 2020 cut-off are considered eligible to participate in the counselling process of NEET 2020. This implies that the candidates with scores more than NTA NEET 2020 cut-off will be eligible for enrollment to state-quota seats India quota (AIQ) seats through NEET 2020 counselling. The NEET 2020 cutoff for students who belong to General Category is 147. The highest number of students who have qualified NEET 2020 are from Uttar Pradesh followed by Maharashtra.

KPPGCA Releases KMAT 2020 Admit Card

Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association, KPPGCA has released the admit card for KMAT 2020 for the eligible candidates who applied for the examination by filling the application form and paying the prescribed application fee. The admit card has been released via online mode on the official website of KPPGCA on 27th October 2020. 

Successful candidates need to download their admit card from the official website i.e. kmatindia.com. using their login credentials.

Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2020 is an entrance examination that will be conducted by KPPGCA (Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association) to offer enrollment to the qualified candidates in 189+ AICTE or University accredited Management Schools established in Bangalore and Karnataka. This year, the examination will be conducted on 29th October 2020 for admission to management institutes in the state. 

The exam will take place via online mode, keeping in mind all the precautionary measures amid COVID-19. All the participants must carry along their KMAT Admit Card otherwise the entry to the exam hall is prohibited. Check below the simple steps to download the KMAT 2020 Admit Card.

According to an official statement by Raghu Sharma, Rajasthan Health Minister, approval for the additional seats in MBBS in Rajasthan has been granted. 230 additional seats have been green signalled for the MBBS programmes at four medical schools in the state. 50 additional seats will be given to the medical schools in Udaipur and Ajmer. As far as Barmer Medical College is concerned, there will be an increment of 30 seats this year. 

In comparison to last year when there was a total increment of 550 seats, seats added this year are lower. However, if taken together, the total addition in MBBS seats in the last two years reaches 880 in Rajasthan, thereby making a sum of 2830 total MBBS seats in Rajasthan, today. 

The initiation of Srikalyan Government Medical College, Sikar has also received approval by the National Medical Science Commission. The Srikalyan Government Medical College, Sikar will be started in the session 2020-21. 

Sikar is a native district and approval of a medical college in Sikar was great news for Govind Singh Dotasara, Congress State President, who expressed extreme joy through a tweet over the approval.

"The much-awaited Sikar Medical College has received the approval of the National Medical Science Commission. It is a result of the strong will power of the Congress government of the state that the Sikar people have got their right, their medical college," a tweet by Mr Dotasara.

The news highlights the commencement of first round of NEET 2020 Counselling from Tomorrow

The first round of the NEET 2020 Counselling will start from 27th of October 2020 by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The first round of seat allotment under this process will commence from tomorrow. The counselling process will be conducted only for those candidates who have qualified the NEET 2020 exam. Unqualified aspirants will not be able to take part in the same. However, the registration is mandatory for the eligible candidates to participate in the counselling. 

Registration for the first round of seat allotment needs to be done on the official website of MCC - mcc.nic.in. and will remain open till 2nd November 2020 before 5 pm. It must be noted that registration must be done before the deadlines otherwise the participation in the seat allotment process is prohibited. 

NEET 2020 registration process seeks the names of the courses and colleges preferred by the candidates that means the candidates will have to fill in their choices about the college and the course during the registration process. However, the candidates will be allowed to fill in their preference within a specific course of time i.e. from 28th October 2020 to 2nd November 2020, after that the preferences will be frozen. 

Followed by the 2nd round of seat allotment, details about which will be notified very soon, the 1st round will be conducted on 3rd and 4th November and the results of the same will be declared on 5th November 2020. Here is the process to register for the counselling process of NEET 2020:

NEET counselling 2020: Online registration process

Step 1: Go to the official website of MCC i.e. mcc.nic.in.

Step 2: Find and click on the ‘UG Medical Counselling’ link available on the homepage.

Step 3: Click on ‘New Registration’.

Step 4: Save your new login ID and password that will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Click on ‘Candidate Login’ and enter your new login credentials.

Step 6: Enter all the details asked.

Step 7: You will get a registration slip after filling all the details. 

Step 8: Make a payment of the registration fee. 

The registration fee needs to be paid before the deadline and the due date for the payment of the registration fee for NEET 2020 Counselling's first round is 2nd November 2020.
