About UPSEE
Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination also known as UPSEE is a state level entrance test that acts as a base for students looking for admission in various professional degree courses offered at UG and PG level across all the UPSEE accepting colleges. The exam is administered by Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.
UPSEE 2021 will be held in April/ May 2021 and the notification for the same is anticipated to be released in December, 2020 or January 2021.
According to AKTU authority, the year 2021 onwards, the UPSEE exam will be discarded for enrollment in B.Tech programme and the admissions into B.Tech will solely be based on the scores of JEE Main.
The performance in UPSEE 2021 will lay the cornerstone for admission into Pharmacy, Engineering, Management, Architecture, Design, Computer Applications, etc. The admissions will be offered into B.Tech, B.Pharma & MCA also, however, through lateral entry. Various government, private and other affiliated schools of UP accept the score of UPSEE 2021 to offer admission.

UPSEE 2021: Eligibility Criteria
B.Tech Programs
- Educational Qualification – Should have passed higher secondary examination from Up or any other recognized board with 45% marks minimum (40% for SC/ST candidates) in the 3 mentioned subjects.
- Subject Qualification – Should have a subject combination as follows:-

2nd Year Lateral entry of B.Tech programs
- Educational Qualification - Should complete a 3-year engineering diploma recognized by an institution located in UP or Board of Technical Education, UP in any branch of engineering (except for Agriculture Engineering, Pharmacy and Architecture).
- Minimum qualifying marks - Should score 45% minimum (40% for SC/ ST candidates) aggregate marks in their qualifying exam.
2nd Year Lateral entry of B.Tech Agriculture programs
- Educational Qualification - Should complete a 3-year Agriculture engineering diploma recognized by an institution located in UP or Board of Technical Education, UP in any branch of engineering.
- Minimum qualifying marks - Should score 45% minimum (40% for SC/ ST candidates) aggregate marks in their qualifying exam.

UPSEE 2021: Admission Process
Step 1: UPSEE 2021 Application Form Filling
- UPSEE 2021 application form can be filled online on their official website - bitsadmission.com
- Payment of Application fee of INR 1300 and INR 650 for males and females, respectively, for the UPSEE 2021 Exam to complete the application process.
Step 2: UPSEE 2021 Admit Card Download
- The download of UPSEE 2021 Admit Card- an imperative document to appear for UPSEE 2021.
- Admit cards are downloadable from the official website by the candidates who successfully fill the application form and pay the application fee.
Step 3:Take UPSEE 2021 Test
Appearing for the UPSEE 2021 Test after ironing out question papers of preceding years and checking the UPSEE 2021 Exam Pattern.
Step 4: UPSEE 2021 Result
- UPSEE 2021 Result will be announced on the official website of the UPSEE 2021 Exam.
Step 5: UPSEE 2021 Counselling
The qualified candidates will be called to participate in the counselling round of UPSEE 2021.
UPSEE 2021: Application Form
AKTU/ UPTU 2021 Application Form will be released in the last week of January 2021.
Interested and eligible candidates will be able to fill the UPSEE 2021 Application Form through Online mode till the third week of March 2021.

Filing of an application form for UPSEE 2021 is to be done online and includes a series of steps that start from registration, continues with documents upload & payment of application fee and ends with the download or print of confirmation page. Registration
- Register yourself on the official website by filling in the details asked.
- Use the login credentials to log in to the website. Fill in the same academic, personal and contact details as given during the registration for UPSEE 2021.
- Enter some additional details required in the Registration form.
Uploading the scanned copies of recent passport size photographs and signatures.

Download or Print of Confirmation Page
After the successful payment of application fee and submission of the application form, the applicant must take a printed copy of the confirmation page and keep it secure for future use. A printed copy of confirmation page testimonies the confirmation of registration even when there are some technical glitches.
UPSEE 2021: Application Form
Online registration for UPSEE 2021 will start in March, 2021 with the filling of an application form and payment of the application fee i.e. INR 1200 for all the candidates. Third week of May, 2021 will be the deadline to submit the UPSEE2021 application form. Fee payment will be acceptable only via online mode i.e. through debit card, credit card or net banking.
Candidates must fill the application form with utmost care because wrong information may lead to the rejection of the application form. The image of the recent passport size photograph and the Signature must also be uploaded in the desired format as specified on the website.
The application form correction facility will also be provided by the UPSEE authority to facilitate the applicants in the rectification of the incorrect details entered in the application form.
UPSEE 2021: Exam Pattern
- Mode of Exam: The UPSEE 2021 entrance will be conducted through offline mode.
- Duration of Examination: The duration of the exam differs from subject to subjects and from question papers to question papers.
- Total number of Question Papers: The entrance test comprises Eight Question Papers.
- Types of Questions: (MCQs) Multiple Choice Questions.
- Language of The Paper: Hindi and English Language.
- Marking Scheme: For each right answer, 4 marks will be awarded.
- Negative Marking: No Negative marking applicable.

UPSEE 2021: Syllabus
UPSEE 2021 syllabus comprises topics from different sources and varies from programme to programmes. Interested candidates may access the AKTU/UPTU 2021 Syllabus from the official website of UPSEE. According to the available AKTU/UPTU 2021 Syllabus prescribed by the authority of UPSEE, the candidates must be thorough with the last qualifying examination, like for admission into UG programs, the candidates must be fully prepared with the 12th Level Syllabus. For the PG level courses, candidates must be well-versed in Under Graduate level subjects.
AKTU/UPTU 2021: Admit Card
UPSEE 2021 Admit cards will be issued via online mode in the second week of April 2021 and will be downloadable in the PDF format from the official website. The admit card will not be delivered to the candidates via fax or post or any other offline medium. Students will need to download the admit card from the official website by entering the details asked. UPSEE 2021 admit card is a mandatory document to carry along with the valid photo while appearing for the exam. No candidates will be permitted to enter the exam hall without the admit card. UPSEE2021 admit cards will comprise the details about the candidate as well as the exam such as candidate’s name, roll number, exam centres, exam guidelines etc.Candidates must keep their admit card safe till the completion of the admission procedure.

AKTU/UPTU 2021: Answer Key
The successful applicants will be able to access the UPSEE 2021 Answer Key that will be published online on the official website in the 1st week of May 2021. To check and download the same, the students will have to fill in their login credentials i..e the User Id and The password.
AKTU/UPTU 2021 Answer Key will be published twice. First, the provisional answer sheet will be published to facilitate the candidates to check the answers and raise the challenges in case of discrepancies. After the resolution of objection raised by the participants, a final answer key will be released and that will not be subject to any changes which means no student will be allowed to raise the objections in regard to the final answer key.
AKTU/UPTU 2021: Result
AKTU/UPTU 2021 Result will be declared in the 1st week of May 2021 through online mode. The authority will also release a merit list and publish it individually for various courses. The result will be accessible to the candidates after the submission of the login credentials. Those applicants who will score equal marks, the AKTU/UPTU 2021 Result will be computed based on Inter-Se-Merit.
AKTU/ UPTU 2021 Cut Off
As per the UP Government Order, the AKTU/ UPTU 2021 cut off will be 25% and 20% for candidates belonging to general category and Reserved Category, respectively. Candidates who will score more than the AKTU/ UPTU 2021 Cut Off or equivalent to the AKTU/ UPTU 2021 Cut Off marks, will be considered for the Merit List and called for the Counselling or next Admission Rounds.
AKTU/UPTU 2021 Counselling
AKTU/UPTU 2021 Counselling will be started in the 3rd week of June 2021. Candidates who have been listed in the merit list and scored the cut off marks will satisfy the eligibility criteria to participate in the AKTU/UPTU 2021 Counselling process. Details and schedule regarding the AKTU/UPTU 2021 Counselling will be notified on the official website. Counselling process will comprise other processes like document verification, certificates submission, etc after which only the final admission into different institutes will be completed.
