National Testing Agency (NTA) launches ‘Hindi test feature’ on the ‘Abhyas Mobile App’, on Sunday.
New Delhi: Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ , Union Minister, Human Resource Development (HRD) on Sunday publicized that the National Testing Agency (NTA), which is responsible for conducting all national-level entrance exams, has commenced ‘Hindi Test feature’ on ‘Abhyas Mobile App’. He added that the students who prefer ‘Hindi’ as a language of test in competitive examination can now practise on their mobile devices with ‘Mock Tests’ -designed in ‘Hindi’ Language. So language now, is not a barrier.
Dr Pokhriyal also said to the media that in the month of May, National Testing Agency (NTA) which conducts national level competitive exams like-JEE,NEET, CTET,etc has successfully set in motion its very first smartphone app- ‘ Abhyas’ which is powered by Artificial Intelligence(AI). The app soon became popular among thousands of students appearing for competitive exams this year. The app stores noticed 9.56 lakh downloads and counting. About 16.5 lakh tests submissions by the students have been recorded.
In his tweet, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal appreciated the efforts of Director general of National testing Agency saying that now the ‘Abhyas App’ will also have ‘Mock Tests’ in Hindi language.
It is observed that, NTA has taken this remarkable step in view of raised concerns by the students who were preferring ‘Hindi’ as a language for the tests and were unable to give tests in ‘English’. By respecting their views, this new feature is added.
Hindi version is a boon for students in India, as now it has become even more accessible to students who studied from Hindi Medium schools and whose first language isn't English.
Now that this feature is added, it is expected that this app will reach more number of students across the country.
