Dr Bhushan Patwardhan while attending a Webinar said that it is Okay if we adopt new ways to learn, but we shouldn't make our education system automated.
Jaipur: Enforcing the idea that technology cannot replace human-resource, The Vice-Chairperson, Dr Bhushan Patwardhan said, "We should not make our education system automatic as technology cannot replace teachers." He spoke that due to COVID-19, Higher Educational Institutions and Universities are adopting new ways to learn but we should not make our education system programmed and we should not rely on the trend.
He also advocated the importance of the "human connection" which automation cannot replace.
Infusing this idea into the audience's brains, in a Webinar organized by IIHMR University (Jaipur) on the topic 'Heartful Leadership: Transforming Education and Supporting Sustainability', he emphasized, " Human Connectivity is a very important part of learning, gaining experience while maintaining a give-and-take relationship between the tutor and the student, besides receiving practical knowledge."
"Like learning in an internship from one's mentor or understanding and grasping knowledge just by observing things around us which is difficult for technology to teach us as yet," said Dr Bhushan reinforced his point.
While dealing with Human-Consciousness, automation often fails to produce results.
Other speakers also remarked," The purpose of education is to nurture flexible consciousness, and focused on the process of continuity in improvement and learning."
