The ICAR All India Entrance Examination (AIEE) is conducted to select candidates for admission in undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses  in agriculture and allied sciences. The exam is conducted to offer 15% of seats in Bachelor’s degree courses. Apart from that, based on AIEEA UG candidates are presented “National Talent Scholarships in agriculture & allied science subjects (other than veterinary sciences in agricultural universities and 15% quota seats in dairy technology at NDRI Karnal”, says the official website.

ICAR AIEEA 2020 test details have not been announced by the National testing agency due to COVID-19 global pandemic. According to the initial schedule, ICAR AIEEA (All India Entrance Examination for Admission) was to be held on June 1, 2020. ICAR AIEEA exam for UG and PG course enrollment is usually conducted by NTA on the same day. 

NTA will take the ICAR AIEEA test as a computer-based test (CBT). Exam forms were available from March 1, onwards. Previous year, ICAR AIEEA exam was written by 2,36,931 applicants for UG course admissions, 31,486 for PG programme admissions and 8,374 came for AICE-JRF/SRF (PGS).

Eligibility Criteria for ICAR AIEEA UG and PG 2020

Age Limit: The least age boundary is 16 years to be qualified.

Nationality: The nationality of the applicant should be Indian only.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed 10+2 education from CBSE or any other identified board in English medium with the science stream.

The least qualifying marks required in the class 12th exam to be suitable for the admission process are as below.

ICAR 2020 Admission Process For PG And UG

Step 1: Complete the ICAR AIEEA 2020 Application Form

The AIEEA application form for both UG and PG entries needs to be filled in the online mode only. In the ICAR AIEEA Application Form, applicants need to fill all the required details and upload their current colored photograph with signature, date and thumb impression (left/ her right hand). Aspirants can pay the application fee by means of credit card/debit card accepting Payment Gateway of Canara Bank/NEFT or Bank Challan of State Bank of India (SBI). The official website of AIEEA notifies that while paying the application fee “additional Payment Gateway charges plus service tax, as appropriate, will be chargeable”.

Step 2: Download AIEEA Admit Card

Aspirants need to download their ICAR AIEEA 2020 admit card from the official website of the exam. AIEEA admit card for UG and PG course admissions contain the details of the candidate and his roll number along with information on his exam time, date, and center. Candidates need to take a print out of their AIEEA admit card and get it duly attested by the authority of their last School/College or of a Gazetted Officer and bring the same to their ICAR test place. Without the admit card candidates will not be permitted to appear for the entrance exam.

Step 3: Take the AIEEA UG/AIEEA PG / UG Exam

Candidates need to appear for the AIEEA entrance exam that is of 2½ hours span on the date, time and test center as specified on their admit card.

For UG Programs:

  • Mode of Exam: Exam will be carried through the online CBT method.
  • Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agriculture, Mathematics.
  • Time Duration: Paper will be of 2 hr 30 minutes span.
  • Type & No of Questions: There will be 150 MCQ’s in the test.
  • Language: Written will be in Hindi and English.
  • Total Marks: Exam will be of maximum of 600 scores.
  • Marking Scheme: Aspirants will get 4 marks for every right answer.
  • Negative Marking: Aspirants will miss 1 mark for every wrong answer.

For PG Programs:

  • Mode of Exam: Exam will be carried through an online CBT method.
  • Type of Questions: There will be MCQ’s and cross-matching questions in the test.
  • Total Questions: There will be 120 questions in the test.
  • Language: the language used will be English.
  • Time Duration: The exam will be of 2 hrs span.
  • Total Marks: Maximum of 480 marks.
  • Marking Scheme: Aspirants will get 4 marks for each correct answer.
  • Negative Marking: Aspirants will miss 1 mark for every incorrect response.

Step 4: Wait For ICAR AIEEA Result

The results of ICAR AIEED are announced on the official website of ICAR. The results are displayed in the form of total merit-ranking  and category-based ranking. The qualified candidates are called for the counselling rounds. 

Step 5: Take part in Counselling

Once the result is published in the category-wise merit list for AIEEA, the counseling process starts. The merit list includes details of the applicant along with the date when they are required to appear for the counseling session for admission. At the counseling centre for admission in both UG as well as PG courses, candidates need to fill a designated Counselling form. Apart from this, applicants also require to bring a copy of their Counselling invitation letter alongside the fee for counselling and other required certificates.

The ICAR exam has been suspended until further announcements for undergraduate as well as postgraduate course entrances. The application process for ICAR AIEEA was started from March 1 onwards and now it’s closed.

Students participated in Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) June 2020 TEE, and December 2019 TEE exam will now be allowed to apply for the xerox copies of answer booklets. Indira Gandhi National Open University has decided to allow the students for the revaluation and re totalling of marks, they scored in these examinations.

The results of IGNOU June 2020 TEE were announced on October 1. With the upcoming facility of issuance of the photocopy of answer booklets, the students who were dissatisfied with their results can apply for the revaluation of marks scored in the term-end examinations and the photocopies of IGNOU TEE answer sheets. 

The application for the same will have to be made online on the official website of the university. Students simply need to go to the IGNOU website and click apply on the designated link. After which, a few details need to be filled, followed by the payment of the application fee and submission of the application form. 

It must be noted that the applications for revaluation and photocopies of IGNOU December 2019 TEE and IGNOU June 2020 TEE of exams comprising MCQ type questions are disallowed. 

According to the statement in the IGNOU revaluation window,  “Reevaluation and copy of Answerscripts is not available for the Following Exam for Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type and conducted on OMR sheets.”

Students can apply for and get the photocopies of the answer booklets of IGNOU June TEE and IGNOU December TEE examinations if the answer copy has not been handled for Re-evaluation. Students can either first make an application for the copy of Answer Sheet, followed by an application for Re-evaluation or go for both simultaneously.

Education expenses of NEET topper Akansha Singh will be paid by Uttar Pradesh Government. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made an announcement about the disbursement of her graduation expenses. These expenses will include the expenditure of food and lodging during all the academic levels of her graduation.

Akansha Singh lives in Kushinagar district of UP and has achieved 100% score in NEET 2020 exam.  

Though Akansha was given second rank in the examination, she has been declared as top-ranked along with Soyeb Aftab who is native of Odisha state. On the direction of CM Yogi Adityanath, a letter is to be sent by the chief secretary of UP state, to the authorities concerned for the declaration of NEET 2020 ranks to declare Akansha Singh and Soyeb Aftab, both as the first rankers of NEET 2020 examination as they both have scored 720 marks out of maximum score of 720. 

Besides, personal wishes are sent from UP CM to the family members and parents of AKansha Singh, laurelled the top- scorer as an ideal for all the girls. CM Yogi Adityanath appreciated the hard -work she has made and the high perseverance she has maintained throughout her preparation. 

On the other side, Shoyeb Aftab has also created a history with a full score of 720/720 and All India Rank of 1. He is the first-ever candidate to score 100% in NEET examination. From Odisha state also, he is the first student to Top NEET. With this high score, he hopes to get admission in AIIMS New Delhi. 

NEET 2020 comprises a sum of 180 MCQ type questions for a maximum of 720 marks. Qualified candidates who have scored at least or more than NEET 2020 cut-off are considered eligible to participate in the counselling process of NEET 2020. This implies that the candidates with scores more than NTA NEET 2020 cut-off will be eligible for enrollment to state-quota seats India quota (AIQ) seats through NEET 2020 counselling. The NEET 2020 cutoff for students who belong to General Category is 147. The highest number of students who have qualified NEET 2020 are from Uttar Pradesh followed by Maharashtra.

Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association, KPPGCA has released the admit card for KMAT 2020 for the eligible candidates who applied for the examination by filling the application form and paying the prescribed application fee. The admit card has been released via online mode on the official website of KPPGCA on 27th October 2020. 

Successful candidates need to download their admit card from the official website i.e. kmatindia.com. using their login credentials.

Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2020 is an entrance examination that will be conducted by KPPGCA (Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association) to offer enrollment to the qualified candidates in 189+ AICTE or University accredited Management Schools established in Bangalore and Karnataka. According to an official statement by Raghu Sharma, Rajasthan Health Minister, approval for the additional seats in MBBS in Rajasthan has been granted. 230 additional seats have been green signalled for the MBBS programmes at four medical schools in the state. 50 additional seats will be given to the medical schools in Udaipur and Ajmer. As far as Barmer Medical College is concerned, there will be an increment of 30 seats this year. 

In comparison to last year when there was a total increment of 550 seats, seats added this year are lower. However, if taken together, the total addition in MBBS seats in the last two years reaches 880 in Rajasthan, thereby making a sum of 2830 total MBBS seats in Rajasthan, today. 

The initiation of Srikalyan Government Medical College, Sikar has also received approval by the National Medical Science Commission. The Srikalyan Government Medical College, Sikar will be started in the session 2020-21. 

Sikar is a native district and approval of a medical college in Sikar was great news for Govind Singh Dotasara, Congress State President, who expressed extreme joy through a tweet over the approval.

The first round of the NEET 2020 Counselling will start from 27th of October 2020 by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The first round of seat allotment under this process will commence from tomorrow. The counselling process will be conducted only for those candidates who have qualified the NEET 2020 exam. Unqualified aspirants will not be able to take part in the same. However, the registration is mandatory for the eligible candidates to participate in the counselling. 

Registration for the first round of seat allotment needs to be done on the official website of MCC - mcc.nic.in. and will remain open till 2nd November 2020 before 5 pm. It must be noted that registration must be done before the deadlines otherwise the participation in the seat allotment process is prohibited. 

NEET 2020 registration process seeks the names of the courses and colleges preferred by the candidates that means the candidates will have to fill in their choices about the college and the course during the registration process. However, the candidates will be allowed to fill in their preference within a specific course of time i.e. from 28th October 2020 to 2nd November 2020, after that the preferences will be frozen. 

Followed by the 2nd round of seat allotment, details about which will be notified very soon, the 1st round will be conducted on 3rd and 4th November and the results of the same will be declared on 5th November 2020. Here is the process to register for the counselling process of NEET 2020:
