New Delhi: Under the National Education Policy(NEP) 2020 introduced by the Education Ministry, a new National Curriculum Framework of Teachers Education(NCFTE) will be developed and implemented soon, said the Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank while addressing the media.
This curriculum will be a comprehensive one and will be developed by the National Council for Teacher's Education (NCTE) after considering suggestions from the National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT).
In an early discussion with the media, the Minister informed that his department is taking big initiatives for the improvement of the Education Sector in the Country. The visions introduced in NEP 2020 will be implemented soon.
Dr Pokhriyal told, "The NEP has been finalized after a detailed consultation with all stakeholders and with the involvement of counterparts from all states and UTs. As per the NEP 2020, the implementation of the policy requires multiple initiatives and actions which will have to be taken by multiple bodies in a synchronized and systematic manner."
The National Curriculum Framework for Teacher's Education (NCFTE) elaborates the context, visions and concerns underscoring that the teacher's education and the school education have a symbiotic relationship and developments in both these sectors mutually.
